Why the neck? Did you have a pulled groin?
I would often wake up to a speedball to my neck. Three bags of hey-ron and a tenth of coke. I figured the quickest way to get it to my brain was to hit the jugular. I would then puke and be ready for the hurdles the day would present. Some people drink coffee...I shot speedballs.
Pardon my ignorance, but that seems like high dosages. Do you look back on it and wonder why you didn't OD?
I had a huge tolerance. I did have a gran mal seizure at one point after accidentally shooting a gigantic speedball. I had my works set up for 3 shots and grabbed it accidentally. There was 7 bags and 2 tenths of coke in it. My face and skull got completely numb before I fell out. I also was hospitalized with a heart rate of 233 bpm.
Good times!!

Thanks for the honest answers, Finless. Also, glad you made it through all that in one piece.

I have posted previously that I think drugs like marijuana, cocaine, hashish and other drugs that can be used recreationally by so many people should be legalized because a person has the right to do what they want with their own body. However, I have heard horror stories about heroin and crack, that these drugs enslave people.

Do you think we should allow people to use heroin or is it such a powerful drug that we should protect people from themselves?

I would venture a guess that 75% of people who use it more than 3 times would have a problem giving it up.
I don't know about that. I think that you can say once you move on to shooting heroin, that far more than 90% will become hooked. for those smoking or snorting, I'd guess far less than 75%.

That's like asking you to be more repulsive to women.

I have extensive first hand experience with just about every drug. Cocaine and heroin are killers. That being said I do not believe the decriminalization of hallucinogenics and herb is a bad idea.
Because they are killers, then you prefer the idea of keeping cocaine and heroin illegal?

They really serve no purpose other than to get one high. I see viable uses for both hallucinogenics and teh herbs.
Give me the "viable" uses of LSD....One question, how do you, after knowing what a killer heroin is, get the balls to do it the first time ? I don't understand this...

I was a crazy man back in the 90's. I tried every drug there was to try. I tripped on L for weeks on end. During the years of 1995-1996 I spent over half my time spun.Good Clean L has the ability to let you look at things from a perspective you normally wouldn't. Most people would have no idea because if they had ever indulged in it it was most likely crap that is sold to the mainstream. If you eat "the goods' which most people never will...it's a whole different experience. It could effectively be used to help people with addiction. I also believe it could be used to help people get over a traumatic experience. This may sound hokey but I believe it would also allow people who live in fear to recognize some truths about themselves, they way they live and how they interact with society.
I hear what you're saying. I think everyone in this world would benefit from having a psychedelic experience at least once.I just don't see the "therapeutic" potential of LSD as much as, say, MDMA. I am imagining a lot more freak outs and negative experiences with the former, even if it's "the goods," due to the strength, duration, the total mind-bending aspects of it. The latter on the other hand, I could see my mom taking in order to work through a traumatic experience, and actually benefiting from it.As for legalization of "hard" drugs like cocaine and heroin, I am not sure I am really behind this. I have dabbled in heroin and dabbled a lot more in cocaine, and I think these are things that, once you start going down that road, are pretty much 100% terrible.

He deleted this post but it was quoted. Sounds like he came very close to death before.
