Lots of optimistic language from Goodell and Jones there. Sounds like the Commish is setting the stage for reducing the length of suspension.

I don't see why not. I think the league out to have incentives for people to clean up their act beyond the mere punishment itself in all but the worst cases. Now, Tank Johnson's is certainly approaching a "worst case", so that's fair discussion.
