Targeted WR (1 Viewer)

Calvin Johnson

Deion Branch

Joey Galloway

Santonio Holmes

Greg Jennings

Brandon Jones

D.J. Hackett

Brandon Marshall

Craig Davis

Vincent Jackson

Joey Galloway -- if he can get 1,100 yards and 7 TDs with Bruce Gradkowski at the helm, I like his chances with Jeff Garcia.

Terry Glenn -- I think Romo continues to improve, and Glenn faces some really weak CBs

Santonio Holmes

Kevin Curtis

Calvin Johnson & Mike Furrey -- I think both will be solid this year

Jerricho Cotchery -- has 9 or 10 solid matchups

The guy that just shouts out at me is Reggie Brown.

The sky's the limit with this kid if McNabb is healthy, of course that's a big if but the reward would be huge so I'm willing to gamble (on both actually)

Jennings as well. I'm not completely sold yet (strange to hear from a Packer fan I suppose), but Favre seems to target him almost as much as Driver. If he stays healthy and doesn't make the jump this year I'd be worried.

Finally, Mark Clayton. The only knock on him is his size. He gets separation, probably had the best hands in his draft class, and is ready to grasp hold of the #1 WR spot in BAL. I think he cracks the top 15 for sure.

I'd be happy with any one of these guys as my WR3.

Bernard Berrian is my top targeted WR after "choice" wideouts are off board. I firmly believe he's going to put up top 10 WR numbers when all said done for this season. Bears have good offensive line to protect Grossman and a power running game. TE Olsen will get attention or Clark with sound possesion guy in Muhammad. Teams will stack box with 8 and its play action all day. Grossman impresses or at least plays much better this year too. Not Bears fan either.

Crayton=Dallas
Same.......I've been targeting him for a couple years now. In this year's drafts, I've been in 2 and have 3 more coming up soon I've actually taken T. Glenn and then taken Crayton in one round 17 and most recent 14. I don't think Crayton is going to do a lot unless he's a WR2. But considering TO's volatility and and Glenn's age and injury history, I like Crayton's chances at some point to be a productive receiver this year for certain weeks. My other take is if somehow Crayton doesn't get that chance......that means both TO and Glenn are in the lineup and I have EVERY confidence that if they are, they'll both be having highly productive seasons. I haven't gotten a chance to get TO because I just haven't been in a position to grab him where there's value but that's kind of been my thinking. Glenn has slipped a bit in some drafts and I'm gobbling him up with every intention beginning in about round 14 taking Crayton.

One guy that could be pretty big this year considering the lack of quality competition for the WR1 spot is Joe Horn. Sure he is older and Joey Harrington isn't Peyton, but he made Marty Booker relevant again last year, so he is probably worth a later round flier. I don't know how late he is going, but he wasn't in the top 50 WRs taken in a 25 round draft I recently completed.

Also, if you want a super-duper sleeper, Brad Smith WR/QB for NYJ. He can be rostered as a QB and could end up starting at WR if Coles or Cotchery got dinged up. Obviously, he should only be considered in very deep leagues, but this guy is one of the best open field runners that most people have never seen play (unless you are in Big 12 country).

Mark Clayton and Darrell Jackson are the ones that I am targeting currently. I think Jennings could become the #1 WR in Green Bay this year. Kevin Curtis in Philly also interests me.

In deep PPR leagues, and I can't believe I'm typing this, but I can see Bobby Wade putting up maybe 80 receptions.

I can't imagine many TD's for the guy, but have a feeling he'll be Jackson's safety valve this year.

I like Arnaz Battle, late, and am keeping my eye on James Jones, if Driver should get nicked. Muhammed is also free falling and Bradly just can't get healthy enough to challenge him.

Don't know about "targeting" these guys, but they represent some value... (these are names that haven't been thrown out alreayd - I too am bullish on Holmes, Brown, and Cotchery)

Brandon Jones

Brandon Marshall

Isaac Bruce (one more year)

Anthony Gonzalez
Bruce's ADP is ridiculous right now. Bennett's going to be a factor but I think people are writing off Bruce. You can get him as a WR5 or WR6 in drafts and that's a flat-out steal. On topic, among the guys I really like outside the Top 20 are:

Branch

DJax

Brown

Edwards

Calvin Johnson

Cotchery

I love Cotchery as a WR3 in a PPR league.

I usually don't expect much from rookie WRs, but I really like Steve Smith NYG and Anthony Gonzalez IND. I think both will play a major fantasy role in 2007. The guy I think will be huge this year is Santonio Holmes. I made it a point to trade for him in several leagues.
