Maybe Choice is going to be the next head coach and misunderstood what Wade meant.-QGsteelwind said:Wade Phillips is doing his best to lose all of his players. He was the one who told Choice to "be ready". Bye Wade.

Oh come on, it was a joke. But he did look pretty awful out there.that's what i get for taking you off ignore to read one post lolswitz said:He was crying because he realized he's not as good as Felix, even though the average Cowboys fan delusionally believes he is. So did Felix, but that was due to lack of opportunities and being hit in the backfield every single play, right?Oh come on, it was a joke. They both faced the same set of challenges, they both looked pretty bad. The fact is that no one is going to look good behind that OL, but between them one can look better and another look worse. I was really just making a joke at the number of posters who were clamoring that Choice should start since he's so much better and is the most complete back on the Cowboys. How'd that work out?So did Felix, but that was due to lack of opportunities and being hit in the backfield every single play, right?Oh come on, it was a joke. If it's just the OL then I guess there's really no point in rostering any part of that backfield the rest of the way, right? They both faced the same set of challenges, they both looked pretty bad. Pretty much, from an FF perspective, they're all toast. And it's not just the OL, look at last night, 6 carries for Barber, 5 for Jones, 3 for Choice. None of them get enough opportunity to do anything, and the playcalling is atrocious. I loved the opening 3 and out with 3 straight runs by Barber. Way to reinforce to everyone that the reason you abandon the running game is because it kills drives. How about after the 7 yard carry on 1st down, try a pass play, or at least on third and 1 try a pass play. But it's much easier to run 3 times for 9 yards, and then say you have to pass because the running game doesn't work.If it's just the OL then I guess there's really no point in rostering any part of that backfield the rest of the way, right? They both faced the same set of challenges, they both looked pretty bad. I wasn't really serious either.I have already agreed to give Felix a pass on this year. But it would be nice to see him do something, anything, in a game this year. They both faced the same set of challenges, they both looked pretty bad. Bump.Just wondering if anyone thinks the coaching change could impact Choice's playing time, or if it'll be more of the same since Garrett was the OC all along. He said the best players would see the field regardless of position. Considering Barber signed a $45M deal and surely will get cut in the offseason, I've got to think they'll eventually start to phase him out and give Choice more chances.
Not necessarily - it was pretty common knowledge that Choice was told he'd get more PT against Green Bay, but that didn't happen. It seemed to make more sense to bump a thread that already had some decent conversation about him.Bump.Just wondering if anyone thinks the coaching change could impact Choice's playing time, or if it'll be more of the same since Garrett was the OC all along. He said the best players would see the field regardless of position.
