I think Hightower is the best NFL back of that bunch. Choice is probably the second best.
I don't know enough about Helu yet but have been impressed.
Torrain hasn't looked good without Shanny.
I don't believe Shanahan is back next year because I'd like to believe they have higher standards. Some would surely disagree with me.
Regardless, injuries and all gave them an opportunity to grab a relatively young back with some NFL experience. Redskins made a good move getting Choice. At worst, he's a camp body next year. At best he puts his mind to it and beats em' all out.
I would surely pick him up for 2011 if I had a spot to burn. NFL players are generally quite confident and many are arrogant. It's the nature of the beast and not similar to societal views. Choice is a man scorned from Dallas. Who knows how well he'll play? There was at least a dozen threads a few years back where people liked the guy. Personally, there isn't anything close to Choice's talent level on the WW in any of my leagues. Now I can pick up Tamme and waste time wondering if I'll ever start him over Tony G or Winslow Jr. but why bother? I think Brian Hartline was the top available non-injured WR.
I don't see how Choice isn't the best WW option. I guess a clever guy could make an argument for DEF or K, but you know what I mean here.
Choice is a week 10 WW pickup.
Week 10 WW pickups need to be put in perspective. Don't go comparing him to Felix in a summer draft or somesuch. It's off on a bad tangent. It's week 10 and he's there.
