Tashard Choice (1 Viewer)

Shutout

He falls into being THE RB in Washington within a few weeks and is productive?

Shanny says today he is "unsure" of Choice's role to come but wouldn't a team have some idea of a player before signing them? And we all know how up seems to be down when Shanny starts talking about players.

Anyone still a believer in Choice?

As a fantasy option? Hell no. Forget it. Walk away. Don't even consider picking up a Shanahan RB again this season, if ever again.

LOL..ok, full disclosure..are you a Helu/Torain/Hightower owner?Yeah, I'm just wondering as a possible value of the player. Seems like every year some obscure player (especially at RB) comes out of nowhere to post a 100 yard/ 1-2 td game in the fantasy playoff weeks...

That is going to be Kevin Smith this year.

That's a good thought

Choice is in Washington to help the Redskin defense against Dallas. He may play at some point, but I think he is there for the edge he gives the defense recognizing Dallas' offensive plays.

Dumb to cut a player mid season unless you don't think he has a grasp of the playbook. Choice has a grasp of Dallas' playbook.

Just my thought (albiet I may be slightly biased towards Helu as a Helu owner)

I picked up Choice and am holding on to hope that he gets an opportunity to play this weekend, and is productive. I think that Shanny will keep tinkering until the team wins a game. Even with the production Helu had a few weeks ago, the Skins lost the game and he went right back to Torain. I think Choice will see some carries early and if productive then will stay on the field. I think he is the most talented back on that team right now, and if he is motivated, could just end up having some fantasy value for teams.

I think Hightower is the best NFL back of that bunch. Choice is probably the second best.

I don't know enough about Helu yet but have been impressed.

Torrain hasn't looked good without Shanny.

I don't believe Shanahan is back next year because I'd like to believe they have higher standards. Some would surely disagree with me.

Regardless, injuries and all gave them an opportunity to grab a relatively young back with some NFL experience. Redskins made a good move getting Choice. At worst, he's a camp body next year. At best he puts his mind to it and beats em' all out.

I would surely pick him up for 2011 if I had a spot to burn. NFL players are generally quite confident and many are arrogant. It's the nature of the beast and not similar to societal views. Choice is a man scorned from Dallas. Who knows how well he'll play? There was at least a dozen threads a few years back where people liked the guy. Personally, there isn't anything close to Choice's talent level on the WW in any of my leagues. Now I can pick up Tamme and waste time wondering if I'll ever start him over Tony G or Winslow Jr. but why bother? I think Brian Hartline was the top available non-injured WR.

I don't see how Choice isn't the best WW option. I guess a clever guy could make an argument for DEF or K, but you know what I mean here.

Choice is a week 10 WW pickup.

Week 10 WW pickups need to be put in perspective. Don't go comparing him to Felix in a summer draft or somesuch. It's off on a bad tangent. It's week 10 and he's there.

When has Torain not played under Shanny? C'mon, dude...you're better than that.

The great thing about the Washington backfield is they are probably all on the WW by now. If you're in a pinch you can just wait till five minutes before kickoff, pick up whoever was just named the starter, and get an easy 2 points.

Im not going to say I told you so. Actually I am.

He was there for the Dallas playbook. I was surprised to see him play at all. I think if Washington beats Dallas, he would have still had a job for a few more weeks.

did Choice start?I know 7 carries for 6 yards or somesuch, but I thought he may have been a last minute start by Shanny. It's possible these types of threads confused me. I didn't see the game.

Picked up by Buffalo
Now we're talkin'! Washington is difficult at best trying to figure out but the bills have a legit need and not much in the way (beats back cj spiller supporters....both of them). I mean, if it's going to happen, it's now, right?
