Tatum Bell: he's baaaaaaaaaCK.... (1 Viewer)

Not that a discussion of the English language isn't interesting, but...

Has Shanahan said ANYTHING about this situation other than the one quote in the article above? I have to assume SOME reporter asked him about the RB situation after the game. Did he just say "No comment" or what?

Denver homers?
Go to www.orangemane.com in the general discussion threads. He wants to get Bell more and more touches, he had the flu yesterday and was a bitlimited (12 carries). It seemed more and more that Anderson was spelling Tatum then the other way around. And Bell was picking up the blitz and holding onto the ball even though it was raining hard.

Bell will start soon, they can't leave touchdowns and big plays on the bench.

more from rtsports...

Denver Broncos RB Tatum Bell drew lofty praise from head coach Mike Shanahan, who believes the running back only needs to remain healthy to fulfill his potential. "He's played well when he's played. There have been some setbacks. As long as he stays healthy, he'll keep on getting better," Shanahan said of Bell. "He's always been pretty good at the blitz pickup. He's very physical - not afraid to put his face in there. He has pretty good hands. He's worked on that. He keeps getting better and better. He's not afraid to block linebackers and defensive lineman. He has toughness. It's really just getting him the opportunity and staying healthy." Bell rushed for 127 yards on just 12 carries with two touchdowns in Week 5 versus the Washington Redskins.

Whover says Shanny doesn't like Bell......uhh, read the above.

And I wouldn't expect you to care. Why would you? Unless you were looking for a career in broadcasting after you retire. Even then, a command of the language doesn't seem to be a requirement these days.
In his social group I am sure "I know he do" is perfectly acceptable everyday language. You unwittingly imply that anyone who engages in casual language "sounds like an idiot". You do realize that the Brits think we all sound like idiots when we speak our dialect of their language right?Back on topic, Bell and Anderson = RBBC
MA is an American and sounds like an idiot speaking that way. As far as his social group goes, if they talk the same way then they probably sound like idiots as well.

WTF cares? I won't have Anderson represent me in court.I won't have Bell either.

I highly doubt most players get their jobs for their public speaking skills.

Can he carry the ball?

Is he part of RBBC?

Yes, he is part of a RBBC. But he will be the one spelling Bell soon, not the other way.

To you maybe. You probably sound like an idiot to him. It is all relative and subject to opinion. Some people think that speople with a southern accent sound like idiots, it is just close-minded bigotry.Fact is communication on a level that you find acceptable is not part of his job description. Running the football is. He is damn good at his job. But hey, continue to focus on how he talks rather than what he does on the field. As a matter of fact, I think you should gather up everyones SAT scores before your nest fantasy football draft and adjust accordingly.

I suspect we've found someone else who flunked high school English over and over and would prefer to blame the teacher for it. :yucky:
