Tatum Bell is soft and a whiner! (1 Viewer)

Fair & Balanced
I went out to eat last night at a pub some of the Lions players hang out at. I won`t say who the players are but they are big, don`t tackle and don`t catch the ball.

I have come to know the owner quite well over the last two years and knowing Lion players go there I always ask him about Lion news. All he told me was that a group came in Sunday night after the game for ribs and beers. not much dirt except he heard that Bell is done in Detroit. One of the players said he is soft..but did not use that word, another said he is just a whiner.

I guess Shanny had this guy pegged right.

shocking, lol

Come to think of it, where are all the people who were pumping Tatem up in the offseason, saying he would claim the job for himself whether Jones came back or not?

Do a search on Tatum Bell, find every person who said he would be anything, and throw it back up in their face.

Wash, rinse, repeat.......every Sunday Night thru Monday Morning the rest of the season.

You know, the FootballGuys way!

There is a lot of Bell bashing and to be fair he never really had a chance in Detroit. The schedule was stacked against him and he was not the perfect back for this type of offense. He's not a pass catcher and Martz's offense is geared towards that. I'm not saying that he is a great back or even a good one or will ever be a decent one but he should never have been in this offense. FWIW, he did produce in the first game against Oakland when given the ball.

I still don't know why he wasn't traded at the deadline. Maybe no one wanted him(possibility) but part of it is that his value if KJ goes down is higher to the Lions than anything they would have received for a RB who is a FA next year.

These are players talking..not Shanny.
