I don't know a lot about him, but looks like he gets his shot at filling Fred Warner's role.

I picked him up in a few leagues. Hope he is 90% of Warner.

Thoughts on this guy?

are we sure he will get the shot and not Martin? Obviously he did for the game Warner got hurt but Martin was inactive. Could this be a situation where Martin takes over now that Warner is out from the start? I have no idea the answer but figured I would ask the question.

Will be interesting to see it play out. A lot of BB $$ spent on this guy in my dynasty leagues this week/last night. Could be a real game-changer or a complete dud, depending on what happens.

Not sure about the dot but I have been pleased with production. Glad I grabbed multiple shares. Averaging ~12 pts per game (LB8) he has started in my 4 IDP leagues.

Expecting solid production rest of season. He may end up being great off-season trade bait knowing Warner will be returning to that role. I say this not knowing if his real life contract may allow him to move to new team in off-season.

Not saying it won't happen, but it does not appear to be San Fran's MO. Once they extended Warner it appears they're treating him as their anchor then they let Greenlaw walk and started sprinkling in rookie contracts to support him. Winters is expiring after '26, so he likely remains as starter. Then he walks and Bethune is next up and expiring after '27. Then Nick Martin's scheduled for '28. Those 3 may be enough for now, but if they bypass LB this April then they're probably looking at another day 3 pick April 2027. I presume they'll reassess after that season as that's when the first out in Warner's contract hits.

Throw Al-Shaair into that timeline too - he stepped in when Greenlaw was out years ago, then moved back to a reserve role until his contract was up before moving on to start elsewhere.
