I have a feeling today is a Taysom game, but I don't think I could sit Njoku. May end up being the right call, but that defines getting too cute.

Have Bowers out, picked Hill up last week.
Has to be one of the better flyers out there. No Olave. No Shaheed. No K. Miller. No B. Means.
Only other consideration is M. Gesicki who averages 6-70 with T. Higgins out. May try and grab him off the wire anyway.

Not starting Taysom over Njoku cost me a win.
I did think it could be a Taysom game, but I personally couldn't sit Njoku.
That didn't mean you had to do the same thing. It's your team man.
I'll probably start him this week, because I have to, and he will score 2 pts.

I didn’t mean to insinuate that your comment influenced my decision, just passing along anecdotal results.
I did start Taysom over Ertz in another league which led to a win. Didn’t want to risk starting Taysom in both of my leagues, particularly over Njoku.
Sometimes informed, logical, smart decisions backfire in FF. Happens all the time, actually. That’s what makes FF so maddening.

Yearly we see this happen and then we start him and he throws up a dud.
But….
This new coaching staff is involving him in the catch game more than ever (I say catching because he’s a passer too).
And Kamara can’t take every carry.
So owners may find some more consistency. Even if it’s not 3 TD games.
I think he’s in a pretty good spot rest of season. Coaching staff has nothing to lose.
And I say this as a Kamara owner who doesn’t own Hill.
But….

He was a surprise drop in my league this week. I grabbed him and started him and dropped Ferguson as Kittle insurance. All us fantasy nerds see the 40. Ha ha. I've started him on rosters throughout the years about as many times as I've waived him from those same rosters. The entity known as Taysom is a weird thing.

my decent league allows substitutes for players who don't play that week due to injury, thereby making the 0s irrelevant
unfortunately in my two main leagues....one hosted by MFL and another by CBS....he is considered a QB.....so on the WW he sits...

Looks like I'm far from the only one who used him for McBride. Seems well set up now back from injury, all the backup RBs injured, all the good WRs injured...great playcaller.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky then good. On 1 of my best RTS teams I only had Kittle and Taysom. On another I cursed myself on Thursday for sitting Ertz and his 18 pts for Taysom.
In a NFFC cutline 1st round of playoffs I had 5 guys on bye so I had to start Taysom at the flex and put up a 219. Come into tonight at #6 overall.

Odd that CBS has him as a QB in your league. Play two leagues on CBS and they made a big deal about Hill be moved to TE in both of them.

yeah we knew this but at the time of the draft things were still a little murky and league decided didn't want to force a change and would do whatever the league sites decided....

That’s what we did, as well. When the email was sent from CBS, the commish came over the top and pointed to our own charter where we state we will always defer to the site for scoring, designations, etc. I immediately grabbed and stashed.

I also played him because of McBride's bye. I'm a Browns fan and traveled to New Orleans to watch the game. It was strange cheering when the opponent scored against your team but I didn't mind.

September 4th.
I'm in a 2 flex league where he's TE eligible. Sitting in waivers and even with the bye considering going after him.
He's getting rushes, receptions, and passes. Jeesh. What's not to like?
I just cut Pitts for Hill. The only thing not to like is he tends to get injured.
