This should probably be a poll, but I've got messed up browser settings here at work that don't appear to allow me to do this. I'd probably screw it up anyway, though.
Owen Daniels -
Size - 6'3" 247
Career stats:
2006 season 34 receptions, 352 yards, 5 TD's.
2007 season 35 receptions, 427 yards, 0 TD's.
QB -When healthy, Shaub has looked to be a very capable QB who has developed a good relationship with Daniels.
WR - He has a very talented WR in Andre Johnson on the team, which should allow him to exploit gaps in coverage.
TE - There isn't another TE on the roster who poses a threat to take away looks.
Daniels was a legitimate redzone threat last season, but has yet to find the endzone this season. He has, however, eclipsed his receptions and yardage totals of last year already this season.
Tony Scheffler -
Size - 6'5" 250
Career Stats:
2006 season: 18 receptions, 286 yards, 4 TD's.
2007 season: 10 receptions, 115 yards, 2 TD's. (after missing or not doing anything in 4 games this season)
QB - Has a great relationship with Cutler on and off the field and Cutler often looks to Scheffler as an outlet receiver if a play breaks down.
WR - Has 2 very good WR's in Javon Walker and Brandon Marshall to compete with for targets, not to mention Brandon Stokely working from the slot. Arguably this frees Scheffler up, but it also means that there is much more competition for balls.
TE - The Broncos signed Daniel Graham to a large contract and indicated that they want Graham to block and receive, although Scheffler is being used more now that he is healthy and on the field.
Appears to be injury prone so far in his career.
The Broncos have a history of passing in the redzone, especially to FB's and TE's, so this could boost Scheffler's value as well.
What say you?
