Team accidental Drop, Reversal Allowed? (1 Viewer)

Its a home League BTW, with Friends, every year we get a few newbies in, but this mistake was made by the season vet. It could happen to anyone, and I dont think i'm going to re-invite the guy that complained, hes always making trouble for me, complaining about stupid things.. a shame though hes a good player.
cut him.

or leaguemates will leave

Rule with an iron fist. Funny thing is .... only "local/friends" leagues have these issues. I stopped playing them 4 years ago due to things just like this. Sketchy trades, constant complaining, accidental drops all make it such a pain. Play FPC and you will not have these issues.
I'm sure you were asked to leave all of them.

Yeah, i guess that one guy plays it for realism while the rest of us are playing it for fun
Tell the guy who "plays it for realism" that there's no real-life NFL equivalent of having a phone app select the wrong player.
The mistake was made because the individual was clearly careless and didn't pay close attention to things. I would tell him tough luck ....... maybe if he paid closer attention to the league and people he was picking up/dropping this wouldn't happen.
He needs to pay more attention to the league? So adding/dropping players isn't paying attention?
Dropping the wrong one is not paying attention. If you made a mistake you are not paying close attention to what you are doing.

Reversed. Thanks guys, This one guy in my Leagues being a real **** about it, complaining that it makes the league less serious ect, calling all kinds of BS.

but in all honesty this is the 1st place team that made the mistake, and his team is the second place team, i think hes just trying to improve his odds.

yeah it was all done in the last hour.
Did you take his FAAB?

Maybe it's about the realism. Fantasy sports should simulate the real thing, right? Look at this as the fantasy version of Denver not faxing a document in time, or that team that screwed up the IR rules and couldn't sign a guy they intended to.

Of course, to truly approach realism, we'd also need a mechanism for fans to lobby for the firing of fantasy owners who commit these sorts of errors.
You must be a real hoot at parties

While I can't believe th is has gone on to two pages, I will add that there is a secondary element to it: an elite player has been released. If, for example, a team had dropped Adrian Peterson that could single handedly change the league dynamics. An un-deserving team could end up competitive purely because they had the most FAAB dollars at that time.

Not to sure if this belongs in sharkpool or assistant section but i'm going to try it here

So a team this morning droped his RB1 attempting to pick up a defense, says his phone messed up, its quite obious that he wouldnt drop this player, and is now asking the league if we can have it reversed and drop his defense.

should this be allowed? (his faab is 4th highest)

i was thinkin we should allow it but take away all his FAAB.
You're kind of a jerk, right?

You already answered your own question "its quite obvious he wouldn't drop this player".
