I'd rather be a Fat Cat than a fat purple guy.
Basically, any uniform that has dark on dark is bad.
While they're not the best, they're nowhere close to being the worst.Yeah, i know there's a history there but the Browns uniforms are god awful.
They're Brown and orange. When is that ever a good combo? Not too mention they're about as boring as humanly possible. While they're not the best, they're nowhere close to being the worst.Yeah, i know there's a history there but the Browns uniforms are god awful.
i generally agree with that, and i'm biased but one exception is when the jacksonville jaguars roll out in their black on black unis. this look is very fitting for this team. it's a reminder that someone is about to get punched in the mouth.(incidentally, i'm not a big fan of their basic teal scheme. teal's a bad choice and in general, their unis have an nfl europe look to them)Basically, any uniform that has dark on dark is bad.
I'm glad that it looks like the Jags are ditching the black on black look. "Ask Vic" on the Jaguars website from earlier this week-Basically, any uniform that has dark on dark is bad.
Jason from Rockville, MD: I'm not a fashion guy, but the white pants with the teal jerseys looked sharp (like a blue polo with khakis, sharp). Can we please put the ridiculous black pants away for good?Vic: I have a feeling that when this season is over, the days of blacks pants and black shirts will be over, too.
I love this classic look. Even better was the throwback helmet last week the the players number on it.Perfect, well almost perfect. Penn State has the perfect team uniform. They're Brown and orange. When is that ever a good combo? Not too mention they're about as boring as humanly possible. While they're not the best, they're nowhere close to being the worst.Yeah, i know there's a history there but the Browns uniforms are god awful.
Here are all the Bengals... Orange on White is horrible... Black on Black is probably my fav.BlackonBlackI actually don't mind Cincy's black or white versions, but the orange is bad.
i guess i may be in the minority then.i will always love the black on black of the jags.I'm glad that it looks like the Jags are ditching the black on black look. I especially hate the black on black.i generally agree with that, and i'm biased but one exception is when the jacksonville jaguars roll out in their black on black unis.this look is very fitting for this team. it's a reminder that someone is about to get punched in the mouth.(incidentally, i'm not a big fan of their basic teal scheme. teal's a bad choice and in general, their unis have an nfl europe look to them)Basically, any uniform that has dark on dark is bad.
I think it's a great combo. Just as yellow/black and yellow/green are great combos. I'm never going to wear a green shirt with yellow pants to work, but there's something about these color combinations that make them look real good on a football field. There's no mistaking what team you're watching when you see these colors. That's the problem I have with the newer teams and colors out there. They all seem to feature a different shade of blue. There's nothing unique about the colors. They're Brown and orange. When is that ever a good combo? Not too mention they're about as boring as humanly possible. While they're not the best, they're nowhere close to being the worst.Yeah, i know there's a history there but the Browns uniforms are god awful.
i think they are pretty sweet, penn states are among the best of all time. but they have a better color combo...They're Brown and orange. When is that ever a good combo? Good call there....I actually liked the Giants unis and logo from the 80s....it was nice and simple. As for my team, I could do without the fire-engine red pants on the road for the Chiefs. I liked the white-on-white for road games that KC used under Schottenheimer. The home jerseys should never be touched. The Giants need to ditch the red unis. They look hideous and the team plays like crap when they break them out.

The color is uglier than hell.Basically all the old school uniforms like Steelers, Packers, Cowboys, etc are the best. And all these modern style uniforms are ugly. For the record, the Browns uniforms are great. Simple is better.
I agree. Growing up without an NFL team I considered local, I became a Seahawks fan as a kid because I loved those NFL sweatshirts they used to have and the Seahawks were the coolest looking one. Went from loving the Seahawks uniforms to hating the new ones. God-awful is absolutely correct. I still need to go get myself a Largent or Warner throwback.Gotta start with Seattle, IMHO. Their all-blue unis look god awful. The whites are marginally better.
There are some colors that shouldn't be on the field. Otherwise the NFL would look like a cheap football movie. And Brown/Orange is such a boring combination, almost depressing.I think it's a great combo. I love'em.Reminds me of the Minneapolis Lakers. How about those Philly throwbacks? The blue and yellows?
The Giants need to ditch the red unis. They look hideous and the team plays like crap when they break them out.
I can't believe the feeling of satisfaction I have hearing that statement from you. There are some colors that shouldn't be on the field. More like microsoft giving us the "blue uniform of death"I love Seattle's all blue actually. It has a steely-oceanic look to it which represents Seattle's watery reputation well
