Bloom provided his reasoning. It's not very pretty but Tebow just seems to put up points whenever he's out there.

he put up more points than Stafford, Rivers, or Ryan did today.it's not like the 4th quarter points don't count.
It's not like this was the first time he's done it. He's put up top 5 numbers in all four games he's started and in the half of the other one he played. And, once again, this is all keeping in mind that these are the first few starts of his career.
So Tim Tebow, put up worse numbers but got a win, againts a now 0-6 team, whereas the players you listed who we all know are better QBs played the Lions (5th) Falcons (18th) and Jets (3rd) ranked defenses. Im failing to see the point here. Just my opinion obv, but he is definately not a QB1.

Did you mean "That IS a bad day for a QB1", or "That's NOT a bad day for a QB1"? Because in my league, those 60 rushing yards were the equivalent of another 150 passing yards. 310 passing yards and 2 TDs (and a 2 point conversion) is a VERY good day for a QB1.

Exactly. Seems like every week people start threads in here bagging on somebody or some team, who subsequently ends up successful. People need to learn that there are four quarters in a regulation football game. And this sample group from Tebow keeps getting bigger and keeps being consistent. I don't have him and I'm not necessarily a fan, but these are the facts. The guy manages to get points.
