That sucks. He could have replaced Gabbert by week 4. Now he has to sit and The Tebow thread will languish. The Jets are good enough to avoid the 3 game losing streak needed for The Tebow to take over.Elway must really hate The Tebow to send him to NY when he wanted to go to JAX. Or was it genius? Tebow in JAX is irrelevant. The Tebow Circus in NY could ruin the Jets playoff chances.

If Jets defense is good, they'd probably be better off with a ball control Tebow than an INT throwing Sanchez.

And the first time he comes off the bench to win a game, chaos ensues.

I'm a Jets and I don't know how much more I can take. I love Tebow the person, not the football player--at least not at the QB position!!

Yeah but NY/NJ does have a lot of people that are catholic. I can see people who have never watched football at the games cheering "Come on Tim hit a home run." Ahhh, the new Jets fanbase. Can't wait to see it.
 
This could be good for team harmony.

After Santonio Holmes watches Tebow throw in practice, he may just go over to Sanchez and kiss him on the mouth.

 
Terrible city for him, not a lot of receivers, already a QB who took them to 2 AFC Championships...I'm a Tebow fan, gonna be hard with him on the Jets. This is gonna be a mess.

The media in NY is going to be very cynical and Tebow is the polar opposite of that...I don't think he is gonna like it much.

Jets get Tebow and 7th

Great deal for Broncos IMO. Much more than I thought they would get.

 
So, backup? Option? Hilarious if the GM forces a competition between Sanchez and Tebow. Worst QBs in the NFL, on the same team - Its pretty impressive.

Tim Tebow might end up leading a team deeper into the playoffs than Peyton Manning with this move.

Just when Sanchez thought he escaped things with Manning not wanting to go to NY, the second worse thing happens. Tebowmania comes to town.

It will start with a couple of good drives where Tebow has some success in the wildcat and helps the team win. Fans and media will then start questioning if Tebow should just be the starter. And eventually Sanchez will have a couple of bad games and Tebow will enter as the starter.

This does have train wreck written all over it.

 
Hearing the deal is a 4th and 6th rounder for Tebow and a 7th rounder.

Tebow will probably live in NYC and walk across the Hudson to get to the stadium.
