Ted Ginn Jr. (1 Viewer)

I anticipate a downturn for the Miami passing game over the next few weeks:

v Sea - 21

v Oak - 30

v NE - 15

@ STL - 29

@ Buf - 12

v SF - 19

@ KC - 32

Only one top 15 rush d in the bunch. Pennington's pass attempts could drop by 8-10/game over that stretch.

Ginn will go back to being a nobody this week just like Mogan did last week. Those who passed on or missed out on Avery missed the p/u of the year. You are not going to catch lighting in a bottle with Ginn.
The light bulb could have very well gone on for Ginn and he all of the sudden gets it but I am very skeptical. Why just now? I think it was a maater of coverage which allowed him to have a huge game. There is a reason why Camarillo(sp) has been the #1 WR on the team. I don't exactly know what that reason is but I find it hard to have faith in Ginn. Now if he strings together games like Avery is doing then I am proven wrong. I would still much rather have a Matt Jones(barring suspension), Brandon Lloyd, or Reggie Brown for the rest of the season.
As I expected. Ginn goes back to nobody status and screws up along the way!
one of the attractions to ginn, going into the season, was the chance to get extra points in the return game, but when they pulled him off that detail he returned to a mediocre fantasy prospect.now, he's back on returns and I think we'll finally see that pay off this week.last week I think denver kicked off about 4 times, 3 of those being touchbacks, while the single kickoff return ginn had a chance at was taken out of the endzone for 41 yds.that same week seattle only managed a touchback on 1 of 7 kickoffs, I believe.

Those are just BAD defenses in general. Most of them suck vs the pass as much or even more.Ginn was doubled a lot Sunday. Even the cb for Denver Paymah was talking about how they didn't even bother paying attention to Camarillo because he's not a threat. It was arrogant on his part, but it shows who teams gameplan for.

Nice game yesterday from the emerging Ginn. Wish I'd started him....

4 rec 67 yds 1 TD

He was targeted eight times by Pennington and finished with 88 return yards. Btw, he also had a 100 yd kickoff return for a touchdown called back for holding. If you haven't seen the TD catch, watch the replay from nfl.com.

I like his remaining schedule very much.

Sparano: (On WR Ted Ginn, Jr.’s kickoff return on the first play of the game and his overall play today) – “I thought Teddy was outstanding. The touchdown catch he makes is tremendous and a couple of kickoff returns, I mean, he’s a block away. Of course he takes one on the opener the distance and we have a penalty. That’s something, again, that’s not acceptable. I think we had four or five penalties today in this game. It was pretty even. Both teams were pretty even going into the game, penalty-wise. It kind of all equaled out. But we took points off the board there. I thought Ted was explosive. Certainly in that phase of the game, made some good plays and gave us so me good field position.”

Pennington: (On the TD catch by Ted Ginn, Jr.) – That was amazing. Looking at the picture on the play, Camarillo was wide open. I elected to make it hard. But Ted did an amazing job. He took his eyes off the ball. He had his head turned the other way and he caught the ball over his right shoulder. He made that catch look real easy and that was a very hard catch. He caught it over his opposite shoulder, with defenders on him; in the back of the endzone trying to get two feet down…it was a beautiful play.”

(On the development of the wide receivers/Ted Ginn, Jr.) – “A lot of that is chemistry. We keep working every week to get better and improve chemistry. We hit another back shoulder throw today. That’s just chemistry between the QB and receiver. We are getting better. Ted is getting better. We still do one-on-one drills in practice. A lot of teams don’t do that anymore. That’s a time when we really focus in on getting better. Its not through great schemes or plays. It’s one-on-one…you’re guy against there guy.”

Last week Camarillo, this week Ginn, next week Camarillo.
I'd still much rather have Ginn at WR3 in leagues which allow for return yardage. Camarillo's solid for ppr leagues, but the trend suggests the Dolphins are looking to use Ginn as an explosive playmaker.
