My in laws finally got a visa to come and visit, and we will have them stay here for a few months. That being said, they come from the Philippines, where I don't think there is any national healthcare or anything. I don't think insurance is even a thing there, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I am responsible for their expenses while they are here and that includes any medical that might come up. MIL will have enough of her prescription to cover the entire stay, but I am really worried that if something were to happen, it could potentially do severe financial damage to us. They are both 65. FIL is in pretty good health, and MIL is not so much.
Does anyone know if there is a temporary medical insurance you can get in this case> What are my options? Any help would be appreciated.
