Tennessee Defense - Exceeding Expectations (1 Viewer)

Tenn Defense certainly surprised the rankings this week with ANOTHER huge sack/pass rush game. I assume that also led directly to at least some of the 3 interceptions.

A lot of folks expected them to cool off a bit against Dallas, who I think had only given up 2-3 sacks all year.

Any Homers fill us in on this? Is this pass rush/secondary here to stay and dominate this year or are they simply playing above their level?

I picked up Tenn-D after week 1, expecting them to be about the 10th-12th best option. I've started them the past 2 games despite bad matchups on paper, because I didn't want to drop anybody for another Defense, and been pleasantly surprised.

I think Tenn is a top-10 D easily. 4 remaining games vs Indy & Houston, plus at San Diego, limit their upside.

Certainly playing Manning isn't ideal. But Rivers and Schaub are good for about 1 pick per game, and assume that number goes up a bit v. an excellent pass rush against a team that can put up points as well.
