I'm really ticked to see that my Commissioner approved a straight up trade of Terrell Owens for Calvin Johnson.

We start 3 receivers and the guy who got Owens does not even have him in his starting line-up this week.

When I went to talk to the Commissioner all he claimed he's been a commissioner for 5 years and knows what he's doing. All he said there wasn't any collusion.

Would any other League Commissioner approve this?

The commish's job is to prevent collusion, not to protect idiots from themselves.

I would put this deal under closer scrutiny if the team giving up Megatron was 0-6 or something like that. But with Megatron injured and Owens underperforming, this isn't THAT far off base.

My opinion (in the minority here, obviously) is there are times when a commish should overrule a ridiculously lopsided trade, with or without collusion. This trade doesn't fit but there are others that do. My favorite phrase in these types of threads is "unless collusion is proven." Could someone give examples of proving collusion without one or both of the owners admitting it?

Too many times I have seen a "bad trade" work out in the favor of the person "getting shafted."I think that if this trade is veto'd, and Owens goes on to be top 15 from here on while CJ ends up needing surgury and missing extended time, that the person who was "getting shafted" by trading CJ away should be compensated with winnings pulled out of the super bowl winner's pot.It's only fair.
