This is true, but thanks to Coleman being out most of the season with injury, they had NO ONE else to throw to, so he had a great amount of targets. Washington on the other hand has at very least, Reed and Crowder ahead of him in the pecking order, and I'm sure they are hoping Doctson will make an impact too. Just saying if Cousins isn't there, I'd think he would take a considerable hit between more competition and having to start a rookie or Colt McCoy.

Pryor was the #1 because he was the best WR on the team last year. Even when you delve into metrics like yards per separation he was outstanding.

And most of all he does not need some 140 target load to have the kind of season he just had, I don't even know why that is a discussion. Garcon just had similar stats as Pryor last year on just over 110 targets.

And no I don't think Crowder is ahead of him in the pecking order and should be close with Reed.

And last thing, Cousins is not going anywhere next season. This talk needs to stop, it's a waste of time. He may only be in DC one more year but the ship sailed for him to be on another team next season.

Pryor caught 55% of his targets, Garcon was at 68%.  I think Pryor is more likely to match the 56% Jackson had last year than be in the realm of Garcon, Crowder (69%) and Reed (76%).

That really does not jive with me. That was his catch % last season so for me to buy this I would have to buy that:

1. In his second year of playing WR full time as a starter his progression stopped.

2. That Kirk Cousins is not an upgrade from the 6 QB's he had throwing to him last season

3. That the supporting cast around him is similar to what it was in Cleveland where he drew #1 coverage.

Not to be that guy quoting myself but I might have jumped the gun on this, for sure the talk has not stopped.

 
Rotoworld says the Browns are in talks of trading for Cousins. If we can't sign him to a long term deal, I'd love to get a boatload of picks from them!! 

 
It would be smart for the Skins to do that deal if it's lots of picks but they have no shot at picking the right players.........

 
Terrelle Pryor and Kirk Cousins are working out together this offseason.


Many quarterbacks and receivers do this every year, but it's notable with Pryor recently joining the team and Pryor and Cousins entering contract years together. Jordan Reed, Josh Doctson, and Jamison Crowder have joined Pryor and Cousins. The entire crew stayed at ESPN's Jon Gruden's house and worked with the former coach. "There were a couple routes I had to run a couple times because he’s a timing thrower, and he throws it to spots," Pryor said of Cousins. "But we'll get there." With targets up for grabs in D.C., Pryor has a chance for another career year in an efficient, pass-heavy offense.

Terrelle Pryor expects to be a difference-maker in the red zone for the Redskins.

The Redskins dropped all the way from 11th in 2015 to 30th in 2016 in red-zone efficiency. Free-agent losses DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon weren't very reliable inside the 20 because of their size, and that put too much pressure on the Kirk Cousins-Jordan Reed connection. Pryor stands 6'4/223 and believes his past as a quarterback helps him understand timing routes in the scoring areas. Pryor has a chance to be a top-15 fantasy receiver in 2017.

Kirk Cousins said he wants to get Terrelle Pryor "as many touches as possible."

"I like it because I’ve never had a conversation with a receiver like I’ve had with him," Cousins said about the former quarterback. "He really can see it and he’s going to hold me accountable." Cousins worked with Pryor during the offseason, and it appears the duo have already built some rapport. Even with Josh Doctson healthy, Pryor projects as Washington's No. 1 receiver and is firmly in the WR2 discussion for fantasy.

My team is a couple years away from competing and it was a first I had traded for earlier that will most likely be a mid 1st at best.

That was my thinking as well. I like guys coming off a bad year who had just had a huge year.  Good way for my team to get younger and let I'll still most likely have 2 picks in top half of first round left.

Arent we all?  He hasn't even turned 28 yet.  He still has 3-5 solid years left in him, which for me is plenty in dynasty FFB.  Feels like he just scratched the surface last year, learning how to play the position while shuffling through 6 backup-level QBs on the worst team in the NFL and still posting quality numbers. 

Not saying he is untradeable - certainly depends what you can get for him, but the hype seems warranted to me.  Especially with Cousins and the Skins seemingly softening their stances on reaching an agreement.

Yeah, I didn't mean he was finished. I think he'll keep getting better, which is why I thought it was a decent offer to the other guy.  Since I had 3 1st round picks, I figured I might as well get younger with my roster.

What are your starting lineup requirements?

 
From a dynasty perspective, I really dislike not knowing his QB or team beyond this year.

Really get nervous about the bad teammate narrative as well.  

 
Speaking at minicamp, Kirk Cousins vowed to target Terrelle Pryor heavily on downfield routes this season.

One of the NFL's elite separators in his first year at wideout last year with the Browns, Pryor will essentially take over the DeSean Jackson role in Washington's offense. "Terrelle is really talented running down the field," said Cousins. "I have been very impressed with his down-the-field skills with his speed. Being such a long strider, he can really cover ground when it doesn't look like he is. I want to throw to him every chance I get on those deeper routes."

I'm not really sure what to think about him. Usually I just avoid WAS WRs ever since Santana Moss burned me years ago... I'm just not sure it's an offense I want stock in. 

He poses some good value... WR 23 in PPR at overall 49

I'd be pretty pleased with Pryor as my WR2 in round 4... Guy has potential all over the place. Just not sure I know where I am at with having him ranked. Someone I will keep my eye on that's for sure. 

 
i'm definitely a redraft fan at his current price.  i like what he's done with the position change to this point, and doing so at this level is no small feat. no idea what his dynasty price would be.  but in redraft?  there are worse mid round darts you could throw.

 
Only reason I'm not super high on him is that I'm also high on Crowder and Docston. Not to mention Reed. And not so high on the Redskins in general. But I'm a redskins fan, so this makes sense,
