Newman hasn't had a sack since 2005 and has had only 2 sacks in his career. The only time he will be within hitting distance of Kitna will be on one of probably many int returns during the game. I haven't seen Newman take a cheap shot since he has been with the Cowboys so I thinkg people who are taking this threat seriously are being a little foolish. This is an attempt to get in Kitnas' head and hopefully he will try to throw a pass againts "Trufant Jr." Its amusing to see Kitna backing off his comments and say they were a joke and taken out of context when they have the recording and you can tell it was not a joke and the quotes were certainly in context to what he was saying. Something tells me that Kitna finds his way to the bench by half time.

Newman tackles like Dion Sanders, he is not a hitter.

SO wrong. You can say a lot of things about Newman, but he doesn't tackle like Deion Sanders. Newman is a great tackler for a corner.

Since when was Newman not a good tackler? Try one of those WR screens on him and consider it a loss.

The NFL is. Never a great idea to have the fine makers watching specifically for you. And as I'm sure you know, most hits on QBs come on plays other than sacks.

Good for the NFL but they won't have cause to fine Newman since what I was trying to say is that Newman doesn't blitz much and I am sure you know that Corners don't hit QBs much outside of a blitz.
