Terrified of Indy players? Crazy draft for QB, RB, RB, 3 W/T (1 Viewer)

Just picked up Manning in Round 7, Clark in round 9, and Addai in 11.

More fear than I expected...he's not dead yet...is he?

Even if Peyton is out, Addai and Clark should still hold some value.

Was surprised where I was able to fit some Colts on my team...none as starters, but sure got some nice potential backups. Risk vs. Reward(?)

1 QB, 2 RB, 3 W/T league. My team:

Jamaal Charles (got w/ pick 8!?)

Calvin (rd 2, pick 3)

Forte (rd 3, pick 8)

Marshall (rd 4, pick 3 - pulled ahead, maybe too much?)

D Williams (rd 5, pick 8 - they just paid this guy....everything...)

S. Holmes (rd 6 pick 3)

P. Manning (rd 7, pick 8)

P. Harvin (rd 8, pick 3 - surprised me)

D. Clark (rd 9 pick 8)

J. Freeman (rd 10, pick 3) - decent "backup"

J. Addai (rd 11, p 8)

O. Daniesl (rd 12, p3)

A. Hernandez (rd 13, p8)

Atlanta D (rd 14, p3 - not thrilled, but usually play the matchup anyway...

j. Hanson (rd 15, p 8)

Probably a RMT thread for the ACF, but I am interested in the effect Manning's injury is having.

For better or worse, this is like a "who's who" of players that are falling down fantasy boards right now. You either got great value, or you drafted off a list from June. We'll know which soon enough. Good luck.

My apologies - I din't mean to post here - is there any way I can delete this thread?

Thanks

Thoughts on how YOUR draft went in should go in the other forum, but a good topic to discuss here, could be "is loading up on undervalued IND players a good strategy this year" or "anyone loading up on IND players due to their lack of perceived value"Seems like many people drafting still or looking to trade,m can probably get good value with IND players should they assume the risk.

This would be a very good thing to discuss, yes. Kacz, if you wish you can edit your first post and remove the rate my team aspect of it and refocus it on discussing when is appropriate to target the Indy players. It could be a good thread.I think I would want to be pairing any Colts with good options at their position already. Addai as a RB3 would be fine for me. I expect they may run the ball more with Manning out, and then when Manning is back the offense might take off again, so he might be a little more consistent than the other offensive options.Clark might be a good bet to pair with someone like Hernandez in a mandatory TE league, where Hernandez has a little risk in facing the possibility of the split in TE targets with Gronkowski. One of the risks worth considering is that Manning might come back and not be himself. IIRC he played poorly the first few games the year he missed most of training camp. He also may have some physical hiccups with his throwing to work out, possible lessened arm and gripping strength, etc. I don't think it's safe to assume that Manning's return will definitely mean return to the Colts' normal offensive output, especially not right away.
