Terry Glenn - any updates? (1 Viewer)

I imagine that with the Dallas bye week coming up, there will probably be little to no news coming out regarding injured players. Nonetheless, does anyone know what Terry Glenn's prospects are for coming back for the last few weeks of the season?

Terry Glenn, WR — Dallas Cowboys Oct. 23, 9:14 a.m.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Glenn has not put a timetable on his return from knee surgery, but he is expected to begin practicing and eventually playing, probably next month.

Fantasy Source Spin: Don't expect much from Glenn when he returns, especially with the emergence of Patrick Crayton and Jason Witten. Still, Glenn will add more power to an already potent Cowboys offense when he returns.

I thought Crayton had played pretty well in his absence...

Am I the only one?
so you don't think a healthy glenn would get his job back? I do anyways....sorry I have no info for the OP...
I don't know, Glenn is getting up there in age and coming off an injury...I guess that's what I'm asking -- does Glenn definitely get his starting gig back as soon as he is healthy again?

If he can go at full speed yes. They are missing Glenn's ability to stretch the field, which is not a strength of Crayton.

He has only worked with Romo for a few games last year and not much at all for the last 7 weeks. Crayton has. If you need a starter for an injury fill in for a few games (say till Javon Walker comes back), then go for it. I see little or no value beyond that or beyond this year.

That may be true, but he's probably better than the worst WR on a team in a normal sized league...

However, don't forget he was Romo's favorite target last year. If Glenn comes back healthy then I can't see any reason why he would'nt be a Top 30 WR in that offense(again this is assuming he is healthy...I won't speculate on that)

Say what you will about Crayton but he is not half the WR Glenn was. The question is will Glenn be 100%
