You know that whenever Kath is mentioned, it’s always that great Tanglewood performance. Legendary stuff.

 
Not too long ago I got an email from a concert promotion company.  I suppose I got on the mailing list because of a concert I bought tickets for.  Well, this email had a bunch of bands I’ve never heard of.  One day I decided to go to youtube and look all of them up to see if there was anything good.   I ended up searching ‘Leonid & Friends’ and the first video that came up was a cover of 25 or 6 to 4 and I was blown away by it.  It is a pretty amazing cover.  The guitar solo is particularly impressive.

25 or 6 to 4 - Leonid & Friends

It looks like they are Ukranian and they tour the US.  It also looks like doing Chicago covers is their main deal.  They are even coming to a location nearby me and I might check them out.  That is, if their country is not under attack by the Russians and they can still make it!!!

I’ve posted these guys a few times in the past - amazing cover band, particularly given the intricacy of Chicago.

Last I heard several months ago, unfortunately the guitarist had left to pursue other interests.

Guitar work is good.  real good.  But Peter Cetera's vocals rule.
