**Texans 6-5 at Colts 8-3**(-3.5, 41.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Make up call there

OPI was light but don't agree with JJ it wasn't flag worthy. Delay of game was definitely missed but I swear that happens all the time in games where the clock hits zero and the ball is snapped a half a heartbeat later and it's never called

Was that PAT really good?
Our camera is in the back, but it looked like he missed it
I mean the ref is right under it so I assume he's right but it looked wide.
the replay said the whole ball got to be over the outside of the upright, and it looked like that didn't happen.
 We can't tell from the camera shot when the ball is passing the goal post vs when it's already past. I agree it looks like it missed but it could have already been beyond the goal post at the point we think it is wide. The ref has the best view.

What is so wrong about extending your lead from 4 points to 7 points with 4:45 left in the 4th Q???

3rd and 1, stuffed, bypass a pretty easy FG to try 4th and 1 and get stuffed!
Bad coaching IMHO, I just don't get it...they play chicken all day on offense, afraid to do much and then jeopardize the entire game with under 5 minutes left

They aren't running it effectively. Should have the pushers up on there so they are pushing soon as the ball is snapped, not having to move forward before they can start pushing. Being able to commit to pushing the linemen forward while the defense still has to assure it isn't a fake is where a lot of the advantage comes from.

I think the tush push should be banned for reasons nothing to do with injuries. But while it's legal, I think every team should be doing it.

Sure would be nice to have that FG at the half. We would've sent Fairbairn in there on this drive to make it a two score game. Instead, Indy can win it on this drive. I downright loathe Demeco's strategy on offense

So dumb, we can't convert anything in the RZ 9 times out of 10.

Plus what's the point of the virtual measurement if it's based on where the Refs spot the ball at the end of the play? Seems like the whole point is to know where the ball got to under the giant pile that none of us can see thru?

Incomplete was the right call.

And the Timeout was great job by the coaches. Colts had an easy first down coming with trips to the top of the screen and the defender there blitzing, no one else near to them at the line.

Ok I'm wrong. Colts ran the same play it looked like, and Houston in the same D and blitzed the same guy.

If not gifted the missed extra point Colts could have tied with a FG instead of having to go for it on 4 th and 9. Oh, by the way that was a missed face mask penalty on the JT run. Not to mention the phantom PI call earlier.

Jags move into first in the AFC South, via tiebreak against the Colts. Record vs common opponents I believe, as division record is the same.

Houston a game back, but with more division wins in their wallet (4-1, while Colts and Jags are both 2-1 and still play each other twice). Colts come to Houston the final week of the season.

Yeah agree with above. Multiple terrible calls against the colts:
1: pass interference that lead to TD (would have been a punt)
2: missed face mask on JT
3: clearly missed PAT and awarded point to Houston.

Worst part abut #3 is the Colts wouldn’t have had to go for it on 4th and 9, but kick a field goal to tie. Yes, the refs screwed the Colts today and didn’t even use Vaseline.

That's utter BS on that pass interference. Yes it would be interference if the ball didn't land 10 feet out of bounds where it was utterly uncatchable. It came down beyond the white, beyond the green, beyond the dotted white line out of bounds behind the ref.
I see DPI called on similar plays all.the time. The defender knew he was beat for a TD or long gain.

If the receiver is Reed Richards he might have been able to catch it. Otherwise it was an uncatchable ball and thus no penalty.

Highlights crew before the Den/Was Sunday night game was bashing this flag in particular. They showed the replay and the ball was a good 5 or more yards deep out of bounds, nowhere near catchable. They also bashed the DPI call / missed delay of game on the play that benefited Houston.
