Titans fans still claiming the GM is doing well as they clinch the worst record....
So who do you want?
Mariota won it, TD with 3 seconds left.
I saw that. Thanks for the heads up.
I don't know.
2?3? Weeks ago everyone was saying Cam Ward negativity.
Sheduer was awesome, fell a bit, awesome and then all the many articles saying GMs don't have a first round grade on him.
I love Hunter but I believe all Champ Bailey said (or wrote) that I read. He will be a CB and sometimes WR but he must focus. They don't need a CB.
No Ts worthwhile that early.
Jeanty I would be happy with but RB values say that's way too early. If it were 1980 1990 this would be the pick and he'd follow their gems at RB.
Carter supposedly doesn't play all four downs or all four well or somesuch and...ok that's not a top pick guy then.
Tetracantspell looks great but that's too early
For GM-
I got nothing.
I do believe Jon Robinson proved he is sharp and an excellent GM and then he became an arrogant fool that was the victim of his own arrogance. That he has eaten crow for a couple years and watched his underlings get job AND spent time with Belichick last hiring cycle- I think he could absolutely be back on track to being a gem.
Of course I think "well they'll never give him a second chance"
Then I read GM articles with Savage and Dimitroff and....woah I don't want someone else's retread. I'd rather JRob then.
Jerry Reese applied to the Titans a couple times. I wonder if he pops up again. I was a fan of Accorsi and that he "grew up" under him. Two Superbowls. The whole manner of running a department without always hiring anew but actually grooming and promoting. I could probably get behind him.
I'm waiting for a name to hit me I guess. Everyone seems pretty unexciting right now.
At QB, I want Hendon Hooker since the only article that I found with a trade value had him as a current third round grade. Everyone in the state of TEN seems to want the guy. His tape looks great so...why not try.
Adrian Martinez probably costs a sandwich or 7th. I want him because of a thousand "what's wrong with how the NFL evaluates QBs" things, because he looked so poised under pressure in the UFL, because he looked just as special in preseason, because Aaron Rodgers compliments him, and because the Jets actually had to deal with an issue of him not being dressed on time for practice because he works with a private QB coach on the side. All he does is check my imaginary boxes.
I will forever say Jordan Taamu because he has excelled in spring leagues, lives in Nashville, and has worked out with Titans for like five years now. He's been on like four NFL teams and ya wanna know how little they used him in his two weeks with them? He didn't throw a pass in a team environment for any of them.
Rudolph is fine. Eh whatever. Fine.
I don't have a star or future star in mind. If it's not Shedeur and many seem certain it's not Ward, then... please don't try and manufacture one. That is always the dumbest thing in sports history.
Add my guys above. Add a veteran if not Mason. Trade down and draft Jeanty and worry about the QB another time.
I couldn't be more worried they'll be stupid.
Take what's given and do things the way sports are done.
Have a tryout vibe with many QBs is a weak vibe but it doesn't cost them a (supposed to be) rare opportunity. I can support that.
I have this huge void in who it should be. All I've got are backup ideas. Much like my GM vibe.
If Monti wants to trade Kyler then I want him. That was an opinion not a rumor and there's no good QBs available as of now.
Titans fans that say Wentz should be arrested.
Names will come. Right now no one intrigues me. Just backups.
And I would definitely take Hunter over any stupidity.
