The officials already penalized Suh by handing the Texans the game.

Although a Lions fan, the kick was clearly intentional check 0:12 it looks like he moves his foot in order to kick.
How is that penalizing Suh?
I'm still trying to figure out how they handed the Texans the game. Seems like it was Schwartz who effed upWere the refs supposed to ignore the rules?

Stupid rule, but the refs had to abide by it.

Just watched the replay 5 times..if Suh even made contact it was just a graze. Looks like Schaub was acting for 15 free ones there.Plus defensive players are taught from day 1 to swarm to the balls.

You're nuts!

Ir kills me when CBS Sports halftime crew agree Suh is a POS and they wouldn't even shake his hand. How many times have these guys heaped praise on **** Butkus? What about the NBC Crew and the hiring of Rodney Harrison? Being dirty is part of the game, but for some reason Suh gets labeled a thug while Butkus is revered.
Ray Lewis pretty much killed a guy, and yet Suh is the worst person ever. I never understand these things.
Says the Nebraska fan...just because the media says something doesn't make it so. Ray Lewis has seemed to turn a corner in his public life and seems to be doing good things. If Suh wants to get more leway on Sunday when he stomps on a lineman when they are laying down or hit a QB to the head or kick someone when they are down then he needs to get a good public image by helping out all the less fortunate both in Detroit and elsewhere. If he were looked at as an animal on the field but an amazing guy off the field I think there would be less issues. Also, Suh is a dirty player and nothing you can do about that and comparing him to Butkus would never happen as most people now have never watched But play, i for one never have. Also who is to say Suh wouldn't be hired by ESPN to do NFL pre game? He still is a dirty player either way and it doesnt matter if the media talks about it he still is one of the top dirty players in the NFL right now for the brashness. There might be dirtier players but they fly under the radar as they don't make it so obvious.
I didn't make any excuses. Suh is dirty. You seemed to miss my entire point.

No suspension, no fine. Non issue.
Lions DT Ndamukong Suh will not be suspended for his Thanksgiving kick of Matt Schaub.Suh kicked Schaub in a sensitive area, but the league must believe intent couldn't be determined from the slow-motion replays. The act certainly appeared unnatural, and left the Texans appropriately steamed. Schaub called Suh "not Houston Texan-worthy" on Monday. Suh played perhaps his best game of the season in the Lions' overtime loss. Colts QB Andrew Luck would be well served to wear a cup on Sunday.Source: Greg Aiello on Twitter Nov 26 - 4:30 PMhttp://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5593/ndamukong-suh

I hope all you Suh haters learned your lesson today.

Now go and buy a bunch of Subway footlongs or you're next on Suh's list...

Actually...
League spokesman Greg Aiello said the incident still will be reviewed for a potential fine.
I really hate how what this league is becoming anymore. Everything is fine this, fine that, suspend this suspend that. The entire thing got deemed accidental, no suspension so why are they reviewing it still for a potential fine??

I am not totally surprised by this, especially since you cannot definitively say what his intent was, so suspending him for that would have been the start of a slippery slope, but given Suh's nature, it is only a matter of time before he does something again that gets him in more trouble.

Despite widespread opinions about his dirty style, Suh has been called for exactly one penalty this whole season, and that was for going offsides on a quick count. No late hits, no personal fouls.

It's not like he lined the nuts up like a field goal kicker. One of the hardest things to prove in this case is intent. But it does look like he failed to keep his leg under control and it does appear that he was flinging it to inflict some damage. I think he'll get a fine and a warning.
This guy called it.

Coincidence that he plays next to one of the dirtiest players in recent college football history? Fairly can't be a good influence.

labeled dirty in the media so he will have that the rest of his career. which is ####ty considering if he played before goodell got here, he would be praised as one of those "old school defensive players"

Not when you kick guys in the junk.

Ahh, the good 'ole days - when you could kick someone in crotch and it was considered good football.
Or in the face or stomach. Suh and Haynesworth are just "throwback" players. :)Its all just the media's fault people.

There's no doubt that he's been labeled a dirty player in the media so he'll always have that stigma. I'm not here to defend him or speak to whether his "dirty" label is warranted or not (I do think it has some legitimacy). That said, he's only received one penalty this year (for an offsides), and hasn't had a personal foul called on him since the "stomp heard round the world." But most people act like he's out there every game kicking guys in the balls just because it looks pretty bad when he takes down QB's hard. For the most part, that's what happens when a guy that big going that fast hits a QB...it looks bad. Let's get back to Thanksgiving. I'm a Lions fan so I know everyone will discount everything I say as biased, but I'm not sure how anyone can say that kick was intentional. For one thing, he's only in that position because he beat the OG, who had to pull him down as a last ditch effort to prevent a sack, which made Suh do a summersault/cartwheel. I'm not sure if any of you have ever played football, but if you're in mid-air getting pulled down like that, you don't have control over your feet. Secondly, when his foot made contact with Schaub, his face was in the turf. It's natural to move your legs when you're trying to get up after something like that, and he'd have to have eyes in the back of his head for something like that to be intentional. He's done some pretty stupid things on and off the field, so I know he's not going to get the benefit of the doubt in the media or from you guys, but to me this isn't something he intentionally did.

If you can talk yourself into believing that, more power to you...

Not sure what to make of this...

Ndamukong Suh's dance upsets Colts' Mike McGlynn

It wouldn't be a Detroit Lions game without a fresh story of someone upset with defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

After Lions cornerback Don Carey made an interception with 6:40 left in their 35-33 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Suh hammered right tackle Winston Justice. Suh and his teammates reportedly stood over Justice, laughed, and danced. Justice left the game with a concussion.

Colts right guard Mike McGlynn was furious after the game. He was seen jawing with Suh after the Colts' game-winning touchdown.

The intense race for the playoffs is in full gear. Check out the latest situation in the postseason chase. More ...

"Totally ignorant on their part," McGlynn told Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star. "Just childish stuff. We're all battling out there; I don't know if the hit was legal or not, but clearly he was hurt, and they're out there dancing and pointing at him and laughing. Just blatant disrespect. They're good players but there's no room for that. It's disgusting, really."

Suh was not flagged on the play and the broadcast of the game didn't highlight what happened, but we're sure the NFL will be looking at what happened.

How ridiculous. What a witch hunt this has become. Oh noes! McGlynn's panties got in a bunch because Suh was celebrating. What a bunch of sensitive pansies....and the media cannot wait to catch anything said about Suh and run with it. I'm not a Detroit fan, and I think Suh has been somewhat of a letdown, but this guy from the Colts should learn just to keep quiet about some things....it's football. I remember playing in HS and if you blew somebody up...QB, RB, anyone on the opposing team...you went crazy! It's not your problem if the other guy got hurt.

What a stupid league this is becoming.

Good thing that after Louie fell in the pool, enough water was displaced to allow Suh to basically walk up to him.
