***The 2012 NFL Draft - Rounds 2 and 3*** (1 Viewer)

Kirk Cousins really impressed me talking with Gruden.

Osweiler hasn't really impressed me with the highlights I've seen. I haven't seen any footage that makes him look good. His motion looks terrible and I haven't seen much accuracy on any of his throws? I want to like him, but nothing has looked good so far. Can someone sell me on him please?

Can anyone tell me how the Rams are better without Barron or Claibourne and instead have Brockers?. I have nothing against Brockers who is fine but why trade down?

The team still has a number of holes to fill, and the extra second-rounder was gold. Gives them flexibility in the second round, and could come out with three more potential starters or immediate contributors.

I missed the interview with Gruden, but my gut feeling with Cousins is that even if he's a career backup, I think he's an asset to his team due to what's between his ears. I'm pretty interested to see how his career goes. I'm not sure I'd take him in the 2nd, but later in the 3rd or so I'd be looking at him if my QB situation had question marks.

As odd as it sounds, they're probably also better off if they get future guys who aren't ready to "contribute now".

They have two first round picks for the next two years - their own and Washington. I wouldn't be surprised if both were top ten next year - possibly the year after that. This really sets them up for a great future. plus it's a crapshoot picking players in rounds 1/2 - failure rate is near 50% - makes sense to hedge your bets a little bit.

It cracks me up when everyone gets all crazy about who had the better draft and what team lost who had the steal of the draft etc. Just pick the best player for your team needs and pray it works out. Cause as was pointed out the success rate is about as great as the failure.

NFL Network relaying reports that the Rams are considering WR Brian Quick but they have also said they could trade-down. Mayock likes Upshaw to Colts.

Mayock also said the Rams did not take Jenoris Jenkins off their list so he thinks they could target him later but it sounded like a few teams have interested in Jenkins so he might not last long.

Fleener is no surprise to the colts. Position of need and a friendly face to their new franchise.

Luck - Fleener should be interesting. When was the last time a QB and WR or TE in college both went to the same NFL team? They should be way ahead of any other QB-rookie TE combo.

Didn't happen right out of the draft, but there was lots of hubbub surroundint the Cutler/Bennett reunion recently.I remember watching them rip apart the Gators live in the swamp.

Upshaw to the Ravens. It's funny how the Steelers/Ravens/Bengals draft boards seem like they are so similar (all the same guys seem to be mentioned regarding their picks so far)

UGH, if they play this Verizon commercial all night during the draft like last night...I may just shoot myself in the head!

I don't get it. The NFLN guys essentially confirmed that they weren't allowed to announce the picks ahead of time (they said "we're gonna spoil this here but it's not a pick, Barry Sanders is going to announce a pick later. That's not an actual pick so I don't think we're breaking the rule") and then not 2 minutes later they spoiled the Browns pick.

Kind of wanted Upshaw, Jenkins, Randle or Glenn for Indy, but I watched Fleener's Sport Science piece and am more excited. Watch
