The All Anti - "Leon" Team (1 Viewer)

I'll vote for Roger Staubach. He went to the Naval Academy for gosh sakes. I am sure he could have gone anywhere he wanted. A class act on & off the field.I didn't read through the entire thread yet. But I agree with Roger Staubach.
seems we have another Hall of Famer evolving - Staubach

In addition, we have Darrell Green and Walter Payton.

let's hear it for these guys - do they go in the All Anti - Leon Hall Of Fame?

also, seems we have debate about Favre but I vote for him, yeah he had a rough skid starting off but he's certainly turned it around and he's an Anti - Leon 110% now.

Put in your votes now

Darrell Green - yea or nay?

Walter Payton - yea or nay?

Roger Staubach - yea or nay?

Another vote for Drew Bledsoe as he is one of the NFL's truly good people. He was just inducted into the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame and has won many other awards for his charity work:

Twelve-year NFL veteran Drew Bledsoe of the Dallas Cowboys and father of four, out of Washington State University, is being enshrined in the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame for his ongoing efforts to improve the lives of children by teaching parenting skills through both the Drew Bledsoe Foundation and the Parenting with Dignity curriculum. With Bledsoe as the catalyst, the Parenting with Dignity curriculum -- developed by his parents Mac and Barbara-- is used in schools, prisons, alternative schools, community and youth organizations around the country. The curriculum, which has reached an estimated 1.75 million American families, teaches parents how to teach their own family values to their children and how to teach their children to make decisions based on these values. Its message is focused on helping parents and caregivers rethink their approach to discipline, punishment and empowerment. In addition to his foundation, Bledsoe has served as International Chairman of the Children’s Miracle Network, helping to raise millions of dollars annually to benefit hospitalized children in 170 children’s hospitals nationwide. Bledsoe is a recipient of the Thurman Munson Humanitarian Award, the NFL Alumni Spirit Award for exemplifying the spirit of the NFL caring for kids and in 2004 received the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, chosen by his teammates for demonstrating balance between civic and professional responsibilities. He has also been recognized with the Ed Block Courage award, chosen by his teammates as the NFL player demonstrating the most courage and character. At a recent talk with inmates graduating from the Parenting with Dignity program at Idaho’s Orofino Maximum Security Prison -- where every prisoner has an opportunity to participate in the program, Bledsoe shared the intimidating experiences he has faced in his career. “By far, the most intimidating situation I have ever faced is the 20-minute ride home from the hospital with my first son,” said the 33-year-old Bledsoe. “I believe positive change in America’s youth will occur only when parents learn to effectively teach their own values and solid decision-making skills to their own children. That’s when permanent change can occur.”

If we re-open nominee's Please put Amani Toomer in there. Class act, great guy, spent several weeks in Asia helping out after the tsunami, does a ton of appearances and charity work here in the NYC area. Plus, he has the sickest ankles in the NFL. The guy has made incredible tightrope catches throughout his career, including the one that beat Denver when they were 13-0 and a couple of plays this year in Seattle and against KC.
