As much as I sincerely wish the current administration would make more effort to stop the crisis on the border, I cannot say I am unhappy with this new legislation.   If we are gonna do give a path, this to me seems like a very fair way to go about it.  Both for citizens and non citizens.

Never mind, I was mixing this up with the Farm Workforce Modernization Bill that gained some bipartisan support today.  The dream bill slid through on margins.

Kudos to both. Trump failed miserably on DACA. I think that was Stephen Miller's doing but it doesn't matter, it was a missed opportunity.

I dunno, is it at all possible to discuss the bill based on the current admin.  Why do you have to bring Trump into everything?

When people accuse many of you of having TDS, this is a great reason why.   Jeez move on already.

I agree with you Mike and joked about that in another thread, but for years and years around here it was "but Hillary" or "but Obama" so these things do take time to wash away.  It's tough, regardless of who it is, to not compare to the previous admin.
