Just got a 6 tonite because my 5s kinda crashed (something is wrong with the motherboard and the way it controls the battery) and since I am headed out of town next week for a month +, I needed something that works ASAP.

Honestly, don't see much at all that would impact me other than the camera upgrade to 12MP from 8MP, although maybe I wouldn't really even notice that. I love my 6 plus, but nothing in that would even make me think of upgrading. I remember when I had the 5, the 5S had the touch ID, which seems like a big deal (I like it a lot), but this seems like just spec upgrades, no real difference. Going from the 5 to the 6 plus was a huge jump for me.

I agree. I have been skipping on the 'S' upgrades because they've always been pretty low key.

Still love my 6+. I doubt I ever go smaller.

I wasn't interested in an S version but the more I read it seems like the S versions fix some of the issues with the originals. If they're throwing in a hardware upgrade on top of it I'm pretty interested.

6 Plus is the best iPhone since the 1st one. Thought the last few were just moderate upgrades this one has been outstanding. Has killed off any need for an iPad for me. Laptop at home, phone for traveling.

Yeah I wonder if the 6+ has cannibalized iPad sales. I used to use my iPad daily and we were considering upgrading it but since I bought a 6+ the iPad is just collecting dust.

I'm on my 2nd iphone 6 now I was at a concert this weekend and once again drunk ### me dropped my phone. This time the enitre screen was shattered to the point of not being usable. The Apple store quoted me 119 out the door again but this time they couldn't get the phone to pass calibration with the new screen so they gave me a brand new one for the same price. I was bummed to lose the concert (dead show) pictures and videos from the night before but the replacement screen on my old phone never really felt solid anyways.

Yep.. i've had two screen replacements and both times I ended up with new phones. One time free of charge and once I had to pay the $100ish. Worth it for a factory build device IMO.

Loaded on my iPhone 5c yesterday, and in my YMMV experience, the phone experience is very smooth for Apple Music. Easy signup, go right in and stream music. Catalog noticeably has stuff that I listen to that Spotify (I assume) didn't have rights to stream. Didn't test a ton, but a few bands that I like that had certain tracks/albums off Spotify were right there in Apple Music. Desktop experience on my iMac was not great yesterday, but much better on my work PC today, as it had problems loading up music on my iMac, whereas no issues today. I'll chalk that up to working kinks out/people hammering their servers on the first day since it's a free trial and it just came out.

Overall I like it on the phone and the computer. Big thing for me will be if others (friends, etc.) like it and start making playlists that I can see/listen to. If it's just on an island and Spotify keeps their hooks in, that will decide the fate here for Apple Music. It's certainly not inferior product or content wise.

Big thing they need to get on ASAP - Converting people's Spotify playlists over to Apple Music. If I was on the app design team, this would be item #1 to address, unless they can't for legal reasons, etc. You want to give people a reason to jump right over, and make it easy on them.

Apple music ruined my music app. I have to make a bunch of playlists because I used to randomize all songs from one artist and let it play... can't do that anymore.

Unless, I have to press the station button for that to happen but I don't want to sign up for Apple music either. Bummed!

I really hate the way they have the music app set up now. Just terrible. I have the normal 6 and half the screen is wasted real estate. Can't shuffle the whole songlist from one artist unless you use Siri. The app is definitely not simple to use anymore.

So I saved all of my photos on Amazon photos, my pc, and an external hard drive. I was nervous about it working so I didn't automatically delete the photos when I downloaded to the pc.

I need space on my phone. How do I do a bulk deletion? I can't possible have to delete each photo individually on my phone. I see a way to do it on a Mac, but not a pc.

Just got one from eBay for a hefty discount (it was a new one, just had an opened package), in hopes they had fixed the muffled mic issue when using speakerphone. They haven't. Also don't like the lens still covering up the camera, as it makes for less than crystal clear pics. I'll probably go back to my Unicorn Beetle case and just keep this one for trips to the lake/beach.

Agreed. My wife and oldest have the 6 and it feels so small when I use them compared to my 6 plus. I don't think I could ever go back and I had a 5 before and liked it. I guess I could see if you have small hands preferring the 6 to the 6 plus, but I can't understand thinking the 6 is too big.

Trying to bring my folks up to the 20th century, and away from flip phones. They are looking to get an iPhone that will connect with their new car. My mother is not very tech-savvy or needy, so something very basic should work.

I have an Otterbox, and found that the cap over the lightning connect is too narrow for some cables. It works fine with the standard one that you get from Apple, but with some others, they don't fit.

The problem with those is finding a good FM station to broadcast to, especially if you are traveling. Did it for years, and a station would come up where I was 'broadcasting' and it would knock out the iPhone sound. Maybe some of the new ones are stronger to overpower any FM stations.

I don't have Blue Tooth compatibility in my vehicle. So, I plug my phone into this, my phone asks me to pick an FM channel, I dial to that station, and the music from my phone plays through my speakers?
