Apple does it again!
Pardon me for being late, but I only just discovered this revolutionary new sports "app" (short for application) listening to one of the Bill Simmons ad reads on the latest guess the lines with Cousin Sal.
Simply put, it is AMAZING

The free app for iPhone delivers real-time scores, stats, and more, all designed for speed and simplicity

Yes, you read that correctly: this app is free! I'd probably pay a subscription fee of upwards of $10 a month for this product that:
  • Gives real time sports scores
  • stats
  • betting odds
Hell, it even allows you to input your favorite teams and conferences for updates.

Apple Sports keeps fans up to date on the following leagues currently in season:
  • MLS
  • NBA
  • NCAA basketball (men’s and women’s)
  • NHL
  • Bundesliga
  • LaLiga
  • Liga MX
  • Ligue 1
  • Premier League
  • Serie A
Additional leagues will become available on Apple Sports over time, including MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NWSL, and WNBA for their upcoming seasons.

Yes, they'll even be adding sports such as the NFL. I know you guys doing fantasy football will be intrigued by that wrinkle. (Full disclosure: the news release was dated February and Apple may have already added some of these leagues.)

The Score is the best

Most of the time the app is ahead of the tv broadcast lol
This does annoy me. I can't help but look!
I get notifications from the Score app on my watch. I will frequently get a buzz on my watch notifying me about a touchdown from a team that I follow, and then see it on my TV shortly thereafter.
Yep. I had to turn all these notifications off.
Yeah, honestly it became more noticeable when gambling became mainstream. Not to hijack the other thread, it feels like they have people actually at every game lol

Is it really any different/better than The Score or even ESPN? I have ESPN right now, which is hit or miss, and have had The Score before and it's been solid.

:lmao:
This "revolutionary" app came out in February. Of 2024.

Apple is usually a fast follower, but not this time.

It's a joke son.
