In general, how do you guys weigh strength of a matchup when determining who to start? For example, at what point do you start a "lesser" player with a great matchup over a player you start most every week?

Love the Thursday Audible each week; the most entertaining/informative FF Podcast on the Interwebz!

I am in 2nd place in my League & virtually assured a spot in the playoffs (Wks 14-16). I need to improve my strength at RB (Jamaal Charles was my 1st round pick) in order to feel good about my Championship chances.

I am ready to leverage my strength at QB to attempt to accomplish this. I would also be willing to package others on my roster or a 2012 draft pick as well as one of my QB1.

1) Factoring in Strength of Schedule the rest of this year, which QB would you prefer to trade?

2) What top RBs would you attempt to target in this type of deal, primarily for Wks 14-16?

Hey guys . Can't wait to listen tomorrow.

In my dynasty league I drafted McFadden and Mendenhall back to back hoping to have two young stud RBs for the years to come. Do you think Mendenhall ever becomes a RB/ high end RB2 again? If not do I try and trade him now while he has name value or ride it out and hope he puts up some solid games before trading him? Maybe wait for Felix to come in and lower Murray's value then try to steal Murray away?

Long term prospects of Laurent Robinson, Early Doucet. A couple of guys who haven't put it together yet but are doing well this season. Will they be viable starters for years to come or will they fade back into obscurity?

And as a bonus, Tebow or Big Ben this week?

If Best is shut down, is there any way Kevin Smith could take the starting job soon enough to be fantasy relevant this year?

 
To all the hosts... what are your competitive backgrounds? A brief history of your sports careers as well as any other competitive endeavors you may have excelled in whether it's cards, video games, figure skating, motorboating, debates, whatever.

What is the worth of Kevin Smith and Kendall Hunter? Both are available in my league. Specifically, are either or both worth more than the guys on my bench (Reggie, Felix, Ingram)? I'm feeling like dropping Felix and Ingram and picking up both as I have Foster and Sproles in a start 2 RB, bonus points for out of position TD league.

The only thing holding me back is Foster, Sproles and Ingram are on bye week 11 leaving me to start Reggie and Felix and I'm not sure Smith or Hunter would be worth a play in week 11 (Felix might not be healthy by then either, but looks likely).

Great..with that question you've just subjected everyone to an hour and a half of "6-man Pawnee Jackrabbits" football stories/tales of escapades as a yacht captain from Cecil.Lil' IDP action fo' yo' butts: Is Navorro Bowman unbenchable at this point? He's been fantastic this year, but that Giants matchup just looks fugly to me. They're second stingiest as far as giving up points to LBs so far this year. As good as the Niners are against the run, I could see the Giants just trying to pass them to death anyway.Thoughts on benching him for, say, a 3-down type with a great matchup(Chaney, Orakpo, et al).

Hi Cecil and Sig,

PPR question.

I just picked up Austin Pettis based on some recent reports that Clayton is a long way from having an impact. I am banking on a strong second half run from Sam Bradford and the Rams. Also picked up D. Williams out of Tennessee as he seems to be the only healthy wideout on the team. A couple of fliers, right now. But I like them both. Stash and hope.

These guys look to me like potential strong plays going forward. Would you roster these guys over potential RB lotto tickets/handcuffs like Ringer if you are already pretty strong at WR? (My WR's are: Calvin, Bowe, Lloyd, Cruz, Manningham, Decker)

Hey guys, PPR scoring, not a lot of great options at WR3 - Tampa Mike Williams, Pierre Garcon or Earl Bennett. Bennett has my attention after last week, but with this group, sometimes I think it's best to take 5/50 from Williams and be happy. What say you?

 
Getting this in late, so if you dont get to it, no big deal (and you might touch on it anyway)...

Earl Bennett - looked very good monday night. Was this just 1 of those weeks, or do you guys expect him to emerge as CHI's WR1 like he clearly looked like in his first game back since week 2?

Thanks for answering this. Puts me at ease. I haven't seen the Steelers play so I was getting nervous from all the talk on the boards. This is only my second year playing FF and FBGs has made me enjoy it much more. Keep him up the awesome work.
