Week 11 2024 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (1 Viewer)

Standard scoring + PPR

Flex: Ladd Mcconkey or Audric Estime

Weekly debate @ QB: Purdy v Goff

Thanks
McKonkey has high variance but, I think more upside.

Estime probably sees 15 carries but... I don't know what that's worth.

Coin toss...I probably go with Estime and hope for a short TD

The Lions should score a lot this week. Probably Goff. But there isn't a wrong answer bet those two.

Did not assume Id be in a position to even consider this sort of nonsense, buuut...here we are.

4pt passing TDs:

Burrow vs LAC
or
Russ vs Baltimore
😬

Tough matchup for Joe, but I assume they may well be playing catchup in the 2nd half. That could mean nice production, or a bunch of turnovers.

Baltimore has been tuuuurrrrible vs the pass particularly the big play, which has been a regular thing for Wilson since he's gotten healthy. Steelers have been hot, but can you really trust Artie Smith? Steelers gonna have to throw to win, thats for sure.

Flipping between the two incessantly.
The problem with benching Burrow is the entire offense runs through him in Cincinnati. I guess you can say the same about Pittsburgh but even though they're not very efficient at running the ball, they're very committed to it. I haven't broken out the numbers since Fields was benched, but they're still second in the league in rushing attempts Cincinnati is 28th and they've played one more game.

Wilson has the matchup, is playing well and he's at home.

I think I may chase Wilson's career revival.
Being hot and at home is most of the panache for me with Russ.

Probably wont matter. This team is facing Barkley sooo...yeah. Fishing for a "nova" game, and I suppose thats more likely to be had from Joe, but I'm still waffling.

PPR league. I need 2 RBs, 2 WRs, and 1 flex. Thanks!

Jacobs at Chicago
Chubb at New Orleans
Stevenson vs LA Rams
J Reed at Chicago
Tyreek Hill vs Las Vegas
Jameson Williams vs Jacksonville
JSN at San Francisco

Appreciate your input!

A game day question:
FFPC scoring:

I have D.Mooney starting right now against a tough Denver defense
Should I consider taking a chance on replacing him with Q.Johnson tonight against Cinncy?

Have to start two of the following in PPR (0.5 ppr for RB; 1.5 ppr for TE). Sorted by my current ranking. Can anyone persuade me otherwise?

  1. Jermaine Burton @LAC (Highest ceiling?) ... There's a lot of wishcasting going on here.
  2. Jalen Tolbert vs Houston
  3. Andrei Iosivas @LAC
  4. Malik Washington vs Raiders
  5. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine vs Minnesota (highest floor?)
  6. Jerome Ford @Saints
  7. Cade Stover @dallas

Non-ppr, TD heavy

Adams vs Indy
Reed @ Chi
Tillman @ NO

I want to play Reed, should play Adams, might play Tillman! What say you?
(Tillman scares me for the reverse of revenge. Saints D knows Winston)

Bo Nix or Russell Wilson? It’s a 6pt/PaTD league with .5/first down as well. Feel like the tiebreaker might be for Nix for the rushing upside?

In a 0.5 PPR, I need to pick any two of the following three:

RB Jacobs at Bears
RB Hunt at Bills
WR Kupp at Patriots

I think Jacobs is in and leaning Kupp but I wish I knew if Gonzalez would be covering Kupp or Puka. If its Kupp, then he's definitely out for me.

Jacobs and, IMO, Stevenson at RB. I love CHubb but we need to see something before slotting him in IMO. It is a good matchup for him so consider him for your flex.

Tyreek & JSN at WR IMO. Much more likely to see volume than your other options.

I would probably go with Reed at the flex because he's got some big play ability and should see more volume than Jameson. Chubb is an option if you want to go straight volume and hope the bye week and matchup lead to a decent day.

QJ is on a mini roll and has a decent matchup at home but he's a very low volume option so you're counting on a TD. I might go with that move but I would be hesitant to do so because Mooney is having a very consistent year.

I probably bump Tolbert & Nick Westbrook-Ikhine to the top. CeeDee is questionable with a back injury and NWI has been on a nice run since Hopkins left and Minnesota is soft against the pass.

I don't like the Cinci guys with Higgins set to play.

But, really all your options are dart throws.

Stafford @ NE
Goff v Jax

I want to play Stafford but cross country and noon start
The Lions should score a lot of points so Goff should be a safe option for 220 and 1.5 TDs.

I love Stafford with Puka & Kupp healthy. It is a short week, cross country game and the Patriots suddenly look... not terrible but the Rams really need this game.

Personally I think the Rams game has a better chance of being ugly so I would go with Goff.

But, it's close.

If you are focused on a TD I would go with Adams. He will get good volume and he excels in short area separation like you see at the goal line.

He has the best ceiling/floor combo of your options IMO.

I'll go Wilson this week with a good matchup at home.

Nix is a fine option if you aren't feeling it for Wilson.

I have no problem benching Hunt here. He is volume dependent and if he doesn't score will probably disappoint.

Ah, silly me, I thought Higgins was out still. I really need to pay closer attention to this hobby. A big thank you!

Need 1 : PPR, TE Premium

Cole Kmet (CHI TE) vs GB
Christian Watson (GB WR) @ CHI
Jaylen Warren (PIT RB) vs BAL

Pick 3 ppr flex, huge matchup for division lead.

K Hunt
Chase brown
Deebo
Sutton
Mooney
Tough calls. I start Deebo for sure with Kittle out.

Sutton next because he is on a roll and has the best matchup.

After that it's... Iffy Brown or Mooney seem to be the best floor/ceiling combos IMO. Neither has a great matchup.

Bills are a run funnel and Hunt is putting up 85 yards &/or a TD every week. I don't love his ceiling but he's getting a ton of volume and goal line love. He probably has the most stable floor.

So it depends on what you're looking for. I think I lean Hunt here but Chase is also very tempting.

Kmet has disappeared for awhile. Probably due for a big game but I can't count on it.

Warren has a tough matchup and a designation.

I go with Watson.

Brian Thomas Jr. or Dawson Knox (1.25 ppr for TE).
I thought you were going to ask Darnold v Stroud. ;)

This is tough. I know [suspect] the Jags will have to pass a lot to keep up (watch them win 10-7 or something crazy like that) but I can't trust Mac Jones to unlock BTJ. Beyond his limitations, I just no longer trust Pederson as a schemer.

I go with Knox under the last man standing principal. I think he has a better shot at a TD too

FWIW I just last minute benched CeeDee for Hopkins based on the back injury and lack of viable options on Monday.

Doesn't matter. NE's defense sucks. Kupp will move around and Gonzalez likely faces Puka more than Kupp

NWI with 19.70. I can't believe I waited so long to upgrade to the Super Elite Tier subscription. It pays for itself.
