The Audible LIVE! - 5/5/11 - NFL Talk (1 Viewer)

Good evening Gentlemen,

I know its never to early talking a little fantasy football and I have a little keeper question for you three. I have four teams out of the 14 in the league that for the life of me cannot figure out who they might keep. Here are the teams and the player keeper options they have (please note...in this league you can only keep one player)

Team #1

Vick

Gore

Team #2

Schaub

Mcfadden

Jennings

Team #3

Rice

E. Manning

A.Johnson

Team #4

Freeman

D.Williams

Moreno

D.Jax

As always thank you and I love this show.

Mr.B

Whats up guys. Love the show. Cant get enough.

I have a question about Mikel Leshoure. Prior to the draft, he was for the most part rated as the #4 rookie (if not #5). Now Ryan Williams seems like the consensus #4. Sigmund, you even said in the draft recap show Williams was the slam dunk #4. I'm just curious about this change in opinion. Is it because you always liked Williams more? Or because of the situation? Or a combination of factors? I really don't see why everyone is favoring Williams' situation over Leshoure's. Beanie Wells is just 23, and Jahvid Best just can't seem to stay healthy. If Best does get injured again Leshoure could be the workhorse for a young explosive offense. I know Waldman was down on Leshoure prior to the draft, but as a fan of Leshoure, what do you think Cecil?

Hey fellas,

Can you give me a few ideas for veteran players (especially RBs) to target while other owners focus on the rookies? Right now I'm considering making a trade for Montario Hardesty, but what other names come to mind for you?

By the way, I loved Cecil's rant on the sack of crud that was the Redskins draft and I can't agree more with you on every point you made. Highly entertaining and informative but also true.

Just for some background info., what leagues do you guys play-in? Dynasty or redraft? PPR? Draft or Auction?

Thanks, guys. Love the show.

Is Jeremy Williams WR PHI a guy still worth hanging onto? He looked great with San Diego in the pre-season until that key fumble against the 49ers. On the Eagles he is buried as the probable 4th WR behind Jackson, Maclin, and Avant. In 12 team 20 man roster dynasty leagues is he a guy that still has some value if one of the Philly receivers get hurt?

Thanks for all that you guys do.

Great job with all the draft coverage (especially the Shark Pool thread) and the Audible draft recaps. Keep up the good work.

How do each of your rookie rankings change for a league that (1) starts 2 QBs and (3) only allows you to keep rookies for 4 years?

Do the QBs become part of the second tier (Williams, Leshoure, Little, etc.) or the third tier (Vereen, Cobb, etc.)?

Which players move down your boards because it will take a while for them to carve out a role (e.g., Cobb starting in GB or Vereen in NE)?

I have 1.07 and 1.10 and am looking at Leshoure and Little with the first pick and Cobb, Vereen and QBs with the second pick.

Thanks!

Can you rank these guys and give your thoughts on them in a ppr league?

P hillis

Steve johnson

Austin collie

Thanks fellas!

For a 12 team ppr dynasty startup draft, what would be your guys top 5 or so players? It seems like with the FBG rankings, it depends on the ranker whether they favor RB, WR, or QB. What position do you guys favor and why would you go that route?

What is your opinion on the New England Tight End situation? How do you compare Hernandez and Gronkowski's long-term value in PPR scoring?

Thanks in advance.

In 14 team PPR, I can keep 2:

DeSean Jackson would cost my 3rd round pick.

Romo would cost a 10th round pick.

Finley would cost a 11th round pick.

I'm leaning towards Romo and Finley, wouldn't DeSean or equivalent WR be a 3rd round pick in a 14 team league anyway?

Thanks.

Steve Smith (north), Austin Collie and Demaryius Thomas are three receivers whos careers were put on hold last year due to various injuries. Will Thomas see the field at all this year and if he does is that wise? It certainly seemed that the Colts rushed Collie back on to the field last season against the Patriots only to see a concussion take him off the field; will he ever be well enough to be an "every down" receiver again? What is the prognosis on Steve Smith's knee?

It seems that these guys are all Dynasty holds with limited trade value.
