The Audible LIVE! - 6/21//2012 10PM ET (1 Viewer)

How do you factor in injury risk for your rankings? Do they move down to the bottom of the same tier or does it vary widely based on the player?

The cliche is that statistics can say whatever you want them to. Are there any metrics that any of you DO trust as an indicator in terms of Fantasy?

Randall Cobb getting some twitter buzz today. Can you discuss his short term and long term value in the uber-efficient Packers' passing game?

Hello guys, last week I asked about what I should do from the 13/16 spots in my NFFC draft masters live draft on the air I ended up taking the 5th QB Newton and it was funny I debated Gronkowski and Forte at the 16 spot took Gronk and still ended up getting Forte in the 3rd round at pick 30.

Newton

Gronk

Forte

The host of the show called my team the team to beat! Thanks for the advice last week!

Your thoughts on the strategy of taking Dez Bryant in the 3rd and Austin in the 4th? It's reduces the risk of guessing who will be the better performer, and you're assured of about 17 TDs between them. Thanks!

Our roster limits are 17 (plus 10 reserve spots for previously drafted, yet-to-be-activated rookies). Last summer, I managed to pick up Antonio Brown and Eric Decker off the wire -- our roster setup insures there's usually a few 2nd/3rd year breakout candidates there to be picked up, if you can make room for them. For this reason, I like to constantly churn mid-tier WRs into picks or upgrades elsewhere.

For this reason, I've been thinking that I want to move TB Mike Williams this off-season. Earlier today I asked Bloom and Chris Wesseling on Twitter whether they would trade Williams for Randall Cobb straight up in dynasty, and both indicated they'd take Cobb and it wasn't close.

Two questions:

1) What do you think is a reasonable expected return for Williams, either in a one-for-one trade, or in terms of rookie pick value?

2) Which 2nd/3rd year wideouts do you like to break into playing time this year ala Brown and Decker in 2011?

Thanks guys, as always, love the show.

Love the show guys.

PPR Rookie draft coming up next week. Looking to get some help at running back. I have pick 12 but have also have 14, 16, 18, and 19 so i might try to move to 9 or 10, by packaging 12 and 18. I think I am square in the Hillman, Pead, and Miller range. Need some help trying to differeniate these guys. Peads highlights are kind of amazing but Hillmans stats are the best.

Thanks

In Draft Master Knockout leagues how do you handle players who are coming off of injury and how far do you drop players who have a bye week 11 (championship week of knockout leagues)? For example, Kenny Britt might not be 100% week 1 and he has his bye in week 11. Is Britt undraftable given that players like Bowe, Thomas, VJax, Wallace, Smith and Austin are going around the same ADP?

PS - Can I change my name to "Blackmon's Dead Liver?" What?!?! Too soon?!?

Last year, Denarius Moore was overlooked by a lot of teams (and fantasy owners) b/c he wasn't productive in college. He had all the physical tools, but I believe he was on a team with constant turnover at the QB position and/or the coaching staff. Who are some rookie RBs or WRs this year that fit the bill of:

A). Physically talented

B). Unimpressive college stats

C). A bad situation in college that set them up for failure, and...

D). A better NFL situation

Hi guys,

Thanks for the great show.

In the dynasty leagues you are in, how do you decide when it is time to move a player that is getting up there in age?

Keep up the incredible work you all do

Thanks for the show guys. Friday work days always better with the audible.

Lot of back and forth on the message board about who is better Julio Jones or AJ Green. My typical strategy for ppr auction is to get two top ten WR's and build my team around them.

What are your thoughts on targeting both these guys as your two top receivers? Is this too much risk having both these young receivers? Would a team be better off with an older more established guy (like Greg Jennings or Mike Wallace) and only one of the second year receivers?

Thanks for all the great work you guys do on the show and look forward to listening to you every week.

I was wanting to know your opinion on chris johnson's dynasty outlook in a 12 team ppr start 2 rb. Been hearing alot of positive news so far in camp.

Waldman you motorboating. . .

Your "Upside-down" draft strategy won me a Championship last year. I am now stuck with the dilemma of who to "KEEP" in my TD heavy league, non-ppr league - I'm picking 12th and can keep 2 players (round drafted).

Calvin (2nd)

Stafford (6th)

Graham (9th)

Brown (15th)

Murray (19th)

Logic says to keep Graham and one of the Detroit boys. But, but then there is no chance getting one of those boys back. Bye, bye.

Value says to keep Murray and Graham. Take my chances on QB and WR's in the draft.

"All-my-toys" says to keep BOTH of the Detroit Boys - then pick up Graham and Murray at the 12/13 pick?

Your thoughts on applying the "Upside-down" draft strategy to KEEPER leagues?

Any advice on my particular keeper dilemma? Calvin-Stafford-Graham. . . oh my???

Thanks again for all the effort and advice!

hey guys, loving your show each and every week, just a paragon of knowledge this team of Sig, Matt, Dr Jene and of course See Saw Salami :)

Here is a question that perhaps Cecil and Matt might have some common ground on. I would like to hear more about Dwayne Allen. All the hype seems to be about Fleener and he will combine with Luck for fantasy gold but Allen is right there. How do you guys see Indy using Allen? Allen seems to me to be the guy should end up getting more snaps as the all round TE. Do you see the Indy O-line being an issue and causing Allen to have to do an inordinate amount of blocking like Zach Miller in SEA.

To me, this whole scenario smells so much like when the Pats drafted Hernandez and Gronk and the vast majority of the fantasy community (including myself) was all over Hernandez and let Gronk slip into the background. This time around I'm on the Allen bandwagon, have a made the right move?

Happy Motorboating!!

Hi Guys!!

Keeper league (10 of 20 man roster) 50-50

I HAVE NO 2ND RND PICK AND TWO IN THE 3RD(because I am an idiot)

Which 2 guys would you pick from this group

Harvin

Britt

Maclin

Austin

Garcon

Floyd (SD)

Thanks Guys. I gotta hit gold on one of these guys!!

YOU HAVE TO have a discussion on going Gronk+Graham at the butt end of the 1/2.

pros.

cons.

This is one of the more interesting debates Ive been having among friends. (assuming you can start a TE flex, of course)

Matt,

Dynasty question concerning rookie Chris Polk.

It seemed that your RSP review of Chris Polk's value was quite a bit higher then his teammate Bryce Brown. Yet Brown seems to have caught your eye according to the Preseason Roundtable #5 and that he is a better "all around talent."

Is this precautionary due to Polk's shoulder or has something changed since the RSP?

Stay frosty!

Hey Fellas,

I've got the #4 pick in a 14-Team PPR Redraft.

After the concensus top 3 are gone, there are a number of options, but I'm fascinated Ryan Mathews and especially Darren McFadden.

Is this too much risk for an early 1st rounder? If not, which injury-risk RB would you chose?

Thanks!

One
You didn't ask the pool but can you trade back? You can probably get McFadden around the end of the 1st, early 2nd.

Love the show fellas, look forward to it each week! 12 team regular scoring except that TD passes are worth 6pts. We're allowed 1 keeper and I expect Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Stafford & Newton all to be protected. Can you talk about the next tier or two of QB's and where and when do you think the value will be considering the top 5 QB's are already off the board.

I am interested in your take on two receivers who have been in the news lately.

1. Santonio Holmes - Should we be worried about him? Is he in for a bounce-back season, or is there going to be a lack of chemistry here?

2. Percy Harvin - I assume Harvin will remain a Viking, but is that a good thing? Does he drop in your rankings with news he is unhappy?

Thanks guys, and keep up the awesome work!
