The Audible LIVE! 7/28/11 - 10PM ET (1 Viewer)

It's early, I know. But in Seattle there looks to be a pretty decent amount of talent. With BMW, Rice, Carlson, Lynch and what looks to be an improved OL (Monroe healthy, Gallery signed) is it possible this is the Whitehurst year? Is the talent at the skill positions enough?

Hey guys "love the shoooooooow".

I have to keep two of the following. Standard scoring with the exception of .5 PPR.

Nicks 4th round

Mike Wallace 6th rd

Maclin 7th rd

Mike Williams TB 14th rd

Leaning towards Williams and Wallace but I'd like some affirmation.

I went heavy on breakthrough WR candidates last year and with your show and subscription's help. Thanks for that and for your help with this question.

(in before Cecil butchers my username... laugh)

What do we make of the DEN backfield now that Deangelo staying in CAR

Specifically heard someone throw out the name Jeremiah Johnson - he worth tracking/stashing?

Can someone please rant on my behalf at how dumb the CAR front office is - esp. signing Williams and not trading Smith.

Perfect so that if/when Cam matures all his weapons are old, expensive and past it...

I've got cuts coming up in a 2QB dynasty, and am wondering about who I should cut. 7 players, min 4 from offense.

My QB situation is what worries me. I improved by landing Rivers for AP, but after him have Eli, Palmer, Skelton, LeFevour.

Other cuts from offense could be Anthony Armstrong, Vinateri, and Javon Ringer, but the talk of Palmer retiring and Arizona being desperate to avoid having to start Skelton makes me wonder if I shouldn't consider cutting Palmer and/or Skelton.

Would love to hear your thoughts on whether either QB (assuming Palmer really does retire for 2011) has a shot of starting in the pros again.

Team for reference, starters in bold:

QB: Rivers, Eli, Palmer, Skelton, LeFevour

WR: Nicks, BMW, Ocho, M. Thomas, Meachem, Armstrong

RB: McFadden, Turner, R. Jennings, Snelling, Ringer

TE: Jared Cook

K: Vinateri

LB: D. Harris, Cushing, Vilma, McClain, P. Lennon

DB: Y Bell, D. Landry

Hey guys, glad we are back to 2 hour shows.

I've decided to join an Auction/Contract league, it will have a full startup auction soon. Its 16 team, pretty standard scoring (pass TD 4pts), ppr, full IDP, and Defensive scoring is in line with offensive players.

With all of the movement in the pass few days, is there any advice going into the auction this weekend. Due to time constraints, rookies are going to be thrown into the pool as well.

My head is spinning from all the player movement and camps just starting. Would I be best serve to pay more for known talent and be very conservative with this auction?

Thanks, keep up the great job.

My head is spinning!!! NFL OD!!!

Is there any slim chance that the CIN Bengals come to their senses and trade Carlson to SEA? I know these are the same guys that rejected a 1st and 3rd from WAS for Chad Ochocinco, but who knows?

Any way Carlson can tip their hand and saying he will NOT retire come to camp and screw their Salary Cap?

Keep it up guys!!!

The name is Pamer.... Carlson Pamer.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the awesome show. With free agency in the first few days, who is moving up and who has moved down in your rankings with either moving to other teams, or having other players on their teams moving to other teams? Any dynasty guys to keep an eye on perhaps?

Keep up the great work that you guys do.

Hey Guys, It's great to have the 2 hour show back!

How does the McNabb to Minnesota trade affect the Vikings offensive players, particularly Harvin and ADP?

If you have time,

What kind of numbers do you predict for Daniel Thomas with Bush headed to Miami?

Thanks!

Audible

Finally football is back! Time to renew that subscription and become an audible addict again.

Keeper league, PPR, stan scoring but passing TDs worth 6, QB/WR/WR/RB/FLEX setup. I can keep 2-4 players from last year, losing the position they were drafted in (noted beside each player). Only one can be a waiver pickup and that then counts for our last pick. Draft will be reverse snake, starting in reverse finish order where i finished 3rd, giving me the 10th & 15th picks overall. Who do I keep from those listed below?

Frank Gore (1)

Larry Fitzgerald (2)

Lesean Mccoy (3)

Ben Roethlisberger (8)

Eddie Royal (12)

Damarius Thomas (13)

Peyton Hillis (14)

Tim Tebow (waivers)

I'm leaning toward Mccoy/Hillis/Tebow but not sure at all on the 4th. Tebow/Hillis have huge reward possibilities based in the draft position I lose, and Mccoy is probably a first round pick I would be giving a low 3rd round spot for. Big Ben offers a tantalizing value pick, but Fitz (assuming a Kolb/Orton trade) could be a monster again and definitely worth a 2nd round pick.

Let me know your thoughts on who to pick and what my rounds 1 & 2 strategy should be as a result?

Thanks guys.

Hey guys, I would love your input- please talk me off the ledge as I have held onto both Panthers Stewart and Smiff anticipating a spike in their valve heading into 2011.

Any hope their talent will rise to the top and be productive in Carolina for the next few years?

Also how do you see the PPR value of Reggie Bush in Miami?

Yo Fellas!

And they're baaaaaaaaaaaaaack....well, you never went away, just now you've got some FOOTBALL to talk about. Can you do me a favor and tell all your radio buddies that NFL is back and they can stop talking about baseball now?

Any-who...

1) Who is your favorite dark-horse UDFA RB signing? Spann in INDY? Devine in PHI? Others? Who comes to Fantasy Relevance first?

2) What DEFENSES do you think have made the biggest/best acquistions over the last few days? Jags seem to be pushing hard, Pat Albert will be 'huge' in NE...who else?

3) Who are the biggest Fantasy Winners and Losers so far in Free Agency?

4) What has been the biggest surprise move so far? Tavaris to SEA? Sidney following Tavaris to SEA?

5) Oakland has been pretty quiet. Think we'll hear anything about Mi Bush or Zack Miller soon?

What was your initial evaluation of devin aromashodu like and do u Guys think he can become deep league valuable on the Vikings

2 HOURS!!! yes!!

I've been an avid downloader throughout the off-season, and now everything is getting CRAZY!

Hey Cecil heard you were down on my boy Tebow on twitter. Would you consider trading him for Kolb who has money to burn now, and a new friend in Fitzgerald?

What do your realistically expect from Mark Ingram this season and going forward? If you had to pick his doppleganger from another current or past NFL player who would it be?

Good evening gentlemen,

Can you smell the football in the air?

Long time listener and FBG subscriber and looking for 5th straight Superbowl appearance.

10 tm redraft w/enhanced scoring including 4ppr for wr/te, 2ppr rb, pp carry and pp completion plus yardage bonuses. 6pp td for all. Start 1,2,2,1,1,1 w/ 1 flex

Who are some value plays at wr outside the top 7-10? Would you still recommend ford at his rising adp in this format?

Thanks for all the hard work. Love the show!

RIP: Rock out with your lockout

I am so amped up for a 2 hour show, I will be partying like a certain Rock n Roll clown until ### starts!

Can you guys talk a little in depth about your expectations for A. Gates? Cecil when you interviewed Acee, he did not speak a whole lot about him. Is his foot all good? Will the man love we have for Vincent Brown make Gates even more valuable? If I want to secure his services in a 12 man league, where should he be drafted?

Cecil hopefully there will be no Vince Neil tighty whitey leaps at the Crue show you are heading to!

Just spend the two hours talking about the implications for each big move this week - what's the impact on your rankings for these players:

[*]Stewart, Williams

[*]Ochocinco, Welker and the rest of NE pass catchers

[*]D. Thomas and Bush

[*]S. Rice, M. Williams, and the rest of the SEA pass catchers

[*]G. Olsen, S. Smith and the rest of CAR

[*]D. McNabb and Rice on MIN offense

[*]Kolb

With the first wave of RB signings/trades past, Moreno's value climbs up ever so slightly. If he survives the next wave, does Moreno's dynasty value reach a high enough point to keep him as your RB2? Or trade him because his value will never be higher and he will never meet expectations?

Gentlemen!

Any thoughts on offensive lines that might have greatly improved (or, for that matter, have managed to retain their talent and stay strong) for the 2011 season? We talk a lot about running backs, and I thought shedding some light on the O-Lines might be a nice change of pace. Any hints or suggestions of O-Lines that could be strong enough that it really doesn't matter who is running the ball??

Thanks in advance!

I'm a Bears fan. Can any of you guys please tell me that Bozo the clown (or maybe Matt Jones) isn't our GM? We have signed a kicker and a blocking TE and traded our QB's favorite target. What the hell are they doing. REACT!

Love the 2 hour show guys! This free agent frenzy after the lockout makes me feel like i could motorboat the world! I would love to hear your guys take on the WR situation in Seattle, particularly how it affects Rice, Lynch and BMW. Keep up the awesome work

10 team keeper PPR, start TWO QB league. I'm already keeping Josh Freemanr. My other option is to keep Nicks and lose a 6th round pick or keep Big Ben and lose a 5th. Lots of QBs like Rodgers, Brees, Manning, Brady will not be kept, but since it is a 2 QB league they'll likely be taken in round 1. I think Nicks offers the most value, but I am warming to the idea of keeping Ben to pair with Freeman and then watch others scramble for QBs while I grab value at RB/WR. Thoughts?

Hey guys,

Glad the 2 hour shows are back! Pairing down from 12 teams to a 10 team league this year. .5 PPR, 5/Pass TD, and -2/Int, everything else standard. Won the league last year (2 of the last 3 years thanks for the help) so I'm picking last. I'm keeping Foster for a 6th and Rice for a 1st.

Should I keep Big Ben for a 5th or throw him back and see what happens between the 2nd and 5th rounds?

Thanks guys.

I have Chad Johnson in a first year dynasty, idp, ppr league. Is it time to try to sell high on him or should I hold. If you want to trade him what would want back RB wise for C. Johnson straight up? thanks

Keep bringing the goodness guys, based on this frenzy of news, no doubt you could pull off a 3 hour show (and a 2 hour IDP roundtable) ;) My question is an expansion on this one above.Where do you see the pass catching value coming from on the Vikings this year outside of Harvin? AD doesn't catch a lot of balls so I'm guessing TE could be getting a lot of work. Do you see any end of the bench/deep dynasty stashes on their roster currently? Guys that come to mind:Juaquin Iglesias, Jaymar Johnson, Greg Camarillo, Stephen Burton.....is there ANY value to be mined here in 16 teams leagues that start 3 to 5 WR's?

What's your take on Mike Turner this year - I see some early rankings has him as low as the 14th RB off the board?

He seems to be averaging at least 4 yards per carry the last 3 years - looks like he could present some huge value in redrafts this year.

Guys

Long time 10+ years subscriber to FBGUYS!

Listening to the show for last 3 years (5 minute drill before that!! MISS IT!)

but - first time in the POOOOOOOOOLLLLLL - feelin a little FROSTY!!

Was checking redraft rankings today for the first time(been mostly concerned with dynasty until this week - Thanks to Sig for his opinions on Twitter on a couple dynasty moves I have been considering) .. I digress ... looking at the rankings it is VERY noticable that MW favors his receivers - curious what adjustments if any he will make to Mike Williams(sea) who I know he has been high on as a potential undervalued guy and Dwayne Bowe another WR he ranks higher than most with the signing of Rice and Breaston on those respective teams - will he move them up, down or stand pat? and generaly observations on what effect these signings will have on those 2.

Also just curious with OCHO-CINCO in NE what does he have to offer to get 85 from Hernandez???

Keep up the great work!!! 2 hours expecting at least 2 page of notes from the show today!!!

Thanks

Again!!
