The Audible LIVE! 8/26/10 - new format (1 Viewer)

Love the new format. I'll throw this up for the round table. Might be too late because the show is starting as I type this.

I'm in a different league where they reward players extra points for long TD's. So TD's 14 yards and under are 6 points, 15-39 are 9 points and 40+ is 12 points. What players would you move up your draftboard in this format?

Thanks!

have you guys started looking at the prospects for next years draft class? if so, then where do you think greg little falls? the guys looks like a pure stud IMO.
I'll answer this one a little early...

every Saturday I talk college football with Chad Reuter from CBS Sports NFLDraftScout.com - we talked QBs 2 weeks ago, we talked RBs last week, and we'll talk WRs this week! Little is certainly going to get some love!
hey thank man!

Thank you Sig and Matt for your indepth answer to my question. You guys rock!

I am a little freaked out right now, however, because Bloom crawled DIRECTLY into my head..you weren't named after the great Mr. Freud for nothing I guess!! ;)

When you addressed my question, you immediately started talking about Brady and Moss (2 of my keepers, a fact I didn't mention in my question), and how they tanked in week 14 last year (and got my #1 seeded team booted in RD1 :lmao: ). That is exactly my fear again this year. The Patriots schedule is kinda ugly again this year weeks 14-16.

I am going full press to trade either Brady, Moss, or both before week 14 this year. I like what Matt said about trading at least one of them, to get the one of the eggs outta the basket.

Thanks again, and good luck in fantasy land this year!

Wanted to give this a bump..people shouldn't be missing out on these audibles. Most of us who frequent the board know about them, but some of you who are newer to the board..make sure you listen to these audible podcasts if you have the time. Awesome analysis, and all it costs you is some of your time.

Thank you Footballguys for all of your hard work over the years, and continuing to be the best FF Web site in the land!!

Loving the addition of Matt as the third leg of the tripod. :goodposting:

Makes a fellow FBG proud to hear how far y'all have come as on air personalities.

Let's talk team defenses guys!  Who do you have as your top 5?  Am I wrong for seeing SF as #1?Thanks!!
I listened to the show and loved the new set up,however, you don't see much on teams D's and special teams here (that I can find anyway) and I have a draft this Saturday. Anyone want to lend a hand on the above? I'd appreciate it. It's standard scoring as far as points allowed go and you get 6 points per TD (includes all returns, fumbles etc) 2 per T.O. and 1 for a sack. No return yardage at all. Thanks!

I would say NYJ are consensus #1, MIN, PIT also rate high. and you have to love SF because the personnel and schedule. NO and GB should force a lot of TOs, but give up a lot too. My advice is to take Arizona or Miami to play week 1, and then circulate through WW defenses depending on matchup and who is hot.

Oh well the great little show is over.I fear the magic of the audible will be lost forever Seems the boys have Billy Big Boots syndrome & are going a different route and are" big timing" the little man.Do I sense a little jealousy ovet John Hansen's Sirius gig ?Hmmm?

I'll be unsubscribing over at itunes tout de suite.

I like the new format & thought the show flowed a little better without all the Q's from the pool.

Kudos gentleman
