***The Audible LIVE*** 8/9/2012 10PM ET (1 Viewer)

Emmanuel Sanders is getting first team reps and is atop the depth chart as the Steelers X wide receiver.

I don't think we see Mikey for awhile.

What can E-Sand do?

Jene is the drivers seat, 11pm is starting early tonight!

Can you give a quick list of players that you are concerned about with their injury history and those you are not?

Where do guys like Hakeem Nicks, MJD, Miles Austin, Ryan Mathews, Demaryius, Harvin, Colston, etc. fall on the scale?

Hey guys, love the show!

There's a lot of discussion about sleepers, either players that could break out this year or that are worth stashing in deep dynasty leagues. However, there hasn't been much discussion relevant to limited keeper leagues were you can't really afford to stash someone away for multiple years.

There are obviously a few players that could be worth significantly more next year like David Wilson, Isaiah Pead, or Ryan Tannehill, but are there any players that you see playing a limited or neglibile role this year that could conceivably be worth rostering and keeping for the 2013-14 season?

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

I'll be there! Hey Matt, I know you addressed this a couple years ago but do you mind repeating your philosophy regarding drafting multiple offensive targets (RB/WR/TE) from the same team? This podcast could always use a little CLARITY.

Hey guys, in my 16 team non-PPR redraft our 2nd RB slot just turned into a flex (RB/WR/TE). We count return yards, so the pool of WRs is even bigger. A lot of smart people this year have been espousing going RB-RB in the first two rounds, but in a league like this -- especially drafting late -- would you endorse taking a non-top-3 QB or one of the big TEs with one of my first two picks? Need some CLARITY.

Thanks!

Mr. Deltoid

Hey guys, love the show. Answer my question and I'll love it more.

I have Trent Richardson, but I am a patient owner who won't trade someone at low value, which he probably is right now. He may or may not be back for week 1, but let's just say I want to bench him for 1 or 2 weeks until he's getting 18 or so touches again. How do you think the rest of my line-up could hold up without him?

12 team ppr with 2 rb's and 2 wr slots. 1 flex. My choices for rb (After T-rich) are ahmad bradshaw, doug martin, and peyton hillis. My choices for wr are larry fitzgerald, eric decker, and reggie wayne. Each odd man out would battle for flex duties. So, with that in mind, do I have enough players to be OK without t-rich for the early part of the season? And for what it's worth, brees is my qb so I'll be getting big dog points from him.

Thanks guys, keep rockin.

Hey guys, love the show!! I need a little CLARITY on deciding when and who to draft in redraft leagues from the guys who's value has plummeted lately. At what point do you draft, if at all, guys like Kenny Britt, Mike Wallace, Mendenhall, Best, and Sidney Rice.

There is always talk of "sleepers" on the chat boards and on podcasts, but there usually is not a lot of talk about WR2 on teams that have not really established a number 2. Mostly The Texans and Bills. Who do you guys think has the leg up in these situations and are they even going to be worth drafting as a last round flier in redraft leagues?

Love the show. Couple questions.

1. I hear people on the show say things like this guy has value at, for example, the 5th or 6th round. What are the assumptions about the size of the league. Is everyone always talking about a 12, 14 or 16 team league. Noticed this today when listening to the team reviews.

2. I am in a 12 team auction dynasty; .5ppr; 16 roster ($180 cap; add $5 for each year of contract). I have collected some nice pieces that I have under contract for very cheap prices. ie Stafford 12; Graham $16; Gronk $16; R.Rice $19; and Decker $5. Looking to repeat as champ. Since I feel that I have most of the pieces for my starting line up would you recommend trying land another top tier stud, which will cost me something in the 50's or load up with a bunch of folks that have high upside and hope that 2-3 hit and produce top tier numbers? ie 2's and 3's that have good shot to be 1's

If you think I should try the high upside route, what are some names I should be looking at? No TE spot, they fill in at WR in our league.

Thanks!

How will the change in blocking scheme in Oakland affect Darren McFadden's effectiveness?

The Raiders used a zone blocking scheme under Tom Cable, then a power scheme while Hue Jackson was in charge. So far in his career, McFadden had more success with the power scheme.

Do you believe this Raiders offensive line has the kind of athletes to effectively run the zone scheme?

OR EVEN THE BENGALS WITH TATE/BINNS/SANU/JONES/LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR TAKE!

If you have a player you really like such as Brandon Lloyd or Brandon Marshall how concerned are you about getting them in the right round vs. reaching and making sure you get them a round early. For instance, I'd really like Lloyd, but I have no 5th round pick. I think the 4th is a bit early, but I probably won't get him in the 6th. Would you rather reach or hope he falls to you.

Thanks!

I'm sure you're going to cover this, but could we have a rundown of the Trent injury situation? What are your concerns both short and long term. Thanks

Assuming all are healthy and not suspended (Leshoure), can you rank the running backs that are either rookies or in their second year in a PPR Dynasty format, based mainly on talent, upside, and situation? Thanks guys and keep up the great work.

I just recently acquired Torrey Smith as a throw in for a larger trade and really haven't done much research on him. What are his prospects and what level of running back would you be looking to move him for in a 12-Team non-ppr redraft league?

Listen all the time. Love you guys. I am struggg ...llling with the mid pack of RBs. These guys all have issues. McFadden, Richardson (now way back), Charles, Murray, Forte, I mean who can you trust as a #1RB? I am not likely to get the top 3 and probably not Mathews or MJD (still in limbo). Help guys. I am not comfortable going with the guys after as a #1RB either. Love Matt Waldman but the upside down deal makes me dizzy - can't do it. Let me here hear the love for clowns tonight! Been here since the yellow days.

How comfortable would you be with either Big Ben or Matt Ryan as your QB1 in a 12-team league? Any strong feelings for one over the other?

Thanks.

How do you adjust your draft board in keeper leagues where you know that some positions may be less strong or deep in advance and where you know that you may have long streteches between picks (because you've lost a pick for a keeper)? Do you treat it like an auction and adjust your draft board because they're may have been a run on positions?

A specific example: I am in league where some teams have kept more than one top 12 QB. The result is 6 teams needing starters, but the top of the free agent pool only consists of Brady, Romo, Rivers, Peyton, RGIII, Cutler. I know Brady will be gone by my first pick (11). Do I pass on quality RB (SJax, Murray, Martin) or quality WR (White, Johnson) to take Romo because the top 5 may be gone by the time I pick again? And it would take valuable draft resources to even create a reasonable RBBC of Cutler/Schaub, for example.

Love this question. Which types of injuries should be seen as warning signs vs the car crash broken ankle types. Also the guys that tend to get hurt every year like McFadden or Vick, do we look into the injuries or just note the pattern and downgrade a bit?

You guys have discussed RB scarcity and your recommendations to take a RB at the top of one's draft (particularly Bloom). What about in leagues that start 2 QB's? Would you take a 1st tier RB (Foster, Rice, McCoy) over a top tier QB (Brady, Brees, Rodgers)? Or a 2nd tier RB (Mathews, MJD, Chris Johnson) over a 2nd tier QB like Newton, Stafford, Vick or Rivers? Obviously in leagues that start 2 QB's, top RB's are scarce, but so are QB's. With QB's being deeper this year, I am leaning towards RB. What do you think?

I have two questions. one Fantasy football one subscription related

1. I am in a dynasty league and own Montario Hardesty. I have heard so much great news about him in camp this year. I am wondering should I hold on to him, or should I see if the guys who just spent pick 1.1 in our rookie draft for T. Rich is willing to to pay a panic price for Richardson's back up. If yes, any suggestions as to Hardesty's trade value?

2. I am a subscriber. Second year in a row. I signed up for FBG's before the deal with Fanduel was offered. Is there any chance of me getting a 25$ fanduel credit with my subscription purchase since if I had waited a month I could of gotten a FBG subscription by making a 25$ fanduel deposit. Seems a little unfair that people who purchased your product earlier in the year lose out on 25 bucks worth of free gambling.

Thanks either way.

Hi Guys

Do you guys feel that is really possible that if Skelton plays a better than Kolb that they would throw the season away and play Kolb because he has that fat contract? I just find it startling that the team would waste the season because they want to save face on the terrible contract.

Hey guys, love the show! Could you provide those of us picking near the bottom of the 1st round with your thoughts on Forte vs. Mathews vs. CJ2K in PPR?

I added a new league this year that uses Team QB as opposed to individual QBs. Would this change strategy in any way? This is also a 6 pt per QB TD league. I am gonna try to grab GB, NO or NE but if I miss out I was thinking about maybe grabbing the Jets as part of a QBBC. I am thinking if you get Tebow and Sanchez scoring , the Jets might be an interesting sleeper. What do you guys think ?

PS As my life has gotten busier and busier I rely more on the Audible for my draft prep. I can listen while driving to and from work. I still get my football guys subscription but my computer reading time is very very limited. Thanks guys for helping me keep an edge on the competition even though I have pretty much no time to research on the computer.
