The Audible LIVE! 9/8/2011 - 10pm ET (1 Viewer)

Happy opening day/weekend! Cecil I am heading out to the Big 4 at Yankee stadium next week. We will be partying like a certain rock n' roll clowm...

A simple who to start:

Kendricks or Olsen at the TE spot?

Its Time to DOMINATE!!!

I have a BAD feeling about Arian Foster this week, if he is OUT which of the following would you recommend to take his place in my roster:

a. Brandon Jacobs

b. Nate Burleson (PPR)

c. Lance Kendrics (1.5 PPR)

d. Derrick Ward (if I can snatch him on time)

Keep it up guys and enjoy the season!!!

I'd like to hear Waldman's thoughts on Kerry Collins if Manning is out for the entire season......can the saavy veteran eventually pick up this offence and become efficient (ala Warner a few years ago).

Further to that how might this offence morph to fit Collins skillset - will we see Collie play even more of a relevant role, Dallas Clark, Addai?

Love the show, guys. Always great stuff.

Pumped for the season to begin!

:football:

Let's rock and roll!

:headbang:

Hey guy, have been listening all non-playing season, quick question: Bowe or Burleson as WR3, non PPR. Start my studs, or play match-up here?

Thanks for the Clarity (DRINK!!) :banned:

Hey Guys,

The Giants' D has been especially hard-hit by injuries this preseason, basically all over the map from DE, MLB to CB - I'm curious to hear what you guys think about the players stepping into the starting lineup (MLB Greg Jones, CB Aaron Ross, DE Jason Pierre-Paul) - first, will they be able to 'hold their own' and keep the Giants' team defense respectable?

Secondly, which of those guys are worth pursuing in IDP leagues (assuming they might still be on a waiver wire)?

Finally, assuming the Giants sign a veteran MLB (several have been mentioned as options for the team - L. Tatupu, D. Jones - would Jones be likely to keep the vet on the bench or should IDP owners scramble for the veteran signee assuming that happens?

Enjoy the NO/GB game!

Mark W.

Love your work guys

Of the four rookie recievers what are some of thei traits that cause you concern and will they be easy to rectify.

Jones have heard Matt talk about catching contested balls

Green trouble getting on the line against bigger corners

Little concentration

Moore .....

Cheers guys and keep it up

Whatever it may be

As the Manning news continues to trickle out suggesting he's had another surgery and is out 2-3 months, how does that change the fantasy landscape? Obviously all Colts take a hit, but are any of them potential buy lows from panicked owners hoping Manning makes it back for the FF playoffs? Should Colt owners just hold tight as they don't want to sell for pennies on the dollar, but their FF season could tank pretty quick...

With Manning completing his neck surgery hat trick with a cervical fusion, is it fair to say he may never play again?

Adding on to this, can you comment on the impact on Collie, Garcon and the running backs? I'm assuming that Collie and Garcon will pretty much be waiver wire fodder till the end of the year, at best.

I saw that C.Palmer is working out. Is he someone to consider on QB lite teams? Should I drop Cutler, C.McCoy, or Grossman for him?

Thanks guys.

Steve

Hey guys, is Collie someone I should just deal for lesser value now or is there a chance that he will still be a "safety" valve for a Manning-less offense?

I wanted your thoughts on starting 2 WRs from the same team in your lineup? Assuming the offense and QB are in the Top 12, and your other WR2 options are similar, do you think this is a good or bad strategy matchup nothwithstanding?

It looks like I will be in this predicament the entire season. Im stacked at RB and plan on using RBs in our 2 flexes, but after Megatron all I have is Burleson, Sims-Walker, and Antonio Brown. Assuming none of them emerge and separate themself from the others, would it be wise to start Burleson with Megatron? Note: Stafford is also my starting QB.

Would love your thoughts on a few WR3 types in redraft leagues:

1. AJ Green: Do you take a wait and see approach? Will he be consistent in any way? Or just a boom/bust?

2. Nate Burleson: Gut says that he's going to have a big season when healthy. Am I too optimistic?

3. Mike Thomas: Really, really unexciting in non-PPR. Is there any reason to keep him on a roster in the early season or am I better of using the spot to stash a high-upside guy?

Saw Bloom's retweet of Charchian's tweet that stated his belief that Kubiak won't start Foster.

Should Foster sit on Sunday, what would you predict for Ward vs. Tate?

Guys, since we're watching the game now, here are a couple questions?

- What do you make of the Starks/Grant committee? Here are my thoughts: Starks better runner easily but 2-3 phantom play actions/broken plays w/ him in. That and Grant's blocking will keep the committee.

- Meachem looking good after his drop, getting targets short and deep. Is it sustainable, or is he going to be inconsistent like in past years (especially once Moore gets back)?

Keep up the excellent work!
