Congrats Boys.

I gotta go with "Game Time Decision" of all the suggestions.

Most of the other terms have been used before. "Footballguys Tailgate" (or something with Tailgate) would be very appropriate for a Sunday AM show.

RIP JRthat's what people at the station said when i came on board at The Fan. I strive to be 1/2 as good as Riegel was. There are a few encyclopedia's of football, and JR was one of them.

Cecil - Good Luck - I've lived here for 28 years and no one has come close to JR. I would wake up with the most vicious hangovers on Sunday morning to listen and call in. When I divorced my first wife I got custody of my young daughter for the weekends - She had church at 8:00 AM and I would get up on Sunday to take her to church and drop her off - every once in a while it would bother me but more often than not I would grab a cup of coffee and sit in the car until John's show was over - you just had to listen and I looked forward to hearing him even though I didn't go to church. What a gracious man and as you have said an encyclopedia. And man did he love the Buffs.

Glad you liked the name. Can you guys do me a favor in return and find out what's going on with the Guest Article submissions this year? I've already sent three articles to Clayton, but haven't heard anything. One is a rules article that a lot of people could use and I've seen posts requesting this kind of info. I don't want to publish the article in the forums if you guys can use it as subscriber content. Jeff confirmed that guest articles are in again this year (http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=408930&hl=), but Clayton hasn't responded to emails or PMs, or to a post in the website forum. Thanks for looking into this, and best of luck with the show.

Maybe for the last segment: Breaking the Huddle -- the last thing before the action starts, and nothing wrong with a good-natured subliminal dig at a rival site.

 
Ah - forgot to just throw my hat in the ring, oh well.

But if you have a segment called the Shark Pool, and have a segment called fantasy studs and duds, or whatever you guys call it, you can appropriately name the duds either "Shark bait" or "Chum."

Hey Cecil, will you guys be podcasting the preseason episodes? I know it wouldn't make sense for the regular season, as it would be time sensitive game day information, but the preseason stuff would be interesting to listen to.

Well Cecil are you sure you aren't doing a show with Shanahan with that name? When I hear Game Time Decision I hear Shanahan's voice - so I guess it will go over real well here in Denver - 7AM is pretty early but I'll see what I can do. Good Luck to you and your crew!

:lmao: The Fan and the Riviera Casino hosted a draft party for leagues. That board wasn't ours, but it belonged to one of the other leagues.

And it was not the league where TJ Houshmandzadeh went NUMBER THREE OVERALL!! :X :eek: :eek: :eek: :yucky: :banned: :shock: :loco: :lmao: :excited:
