The Audible Roundtable LIVE! - 10/7/10 - 10pm ET (1 Viewer)

PPR keeper league with 3 starting WR's and a roster limit of 5 WR's. My WR's are:

Calvin Johnson

Hines Ward

Lance Moore

Johnny Knox

Mike Sims-Walker

Sims-Walker is the obvious dead weight here (hopefully gone for Lloyd) but how is a guy like Knox viewed now 4 games in?  He seems to be the #1 but his targets are just not there.  Should I take a shot with Brandon Tate or stash a guy like Sidney Rice for him? Or just hold him?

Thanks again!

Hey Guys, Do you all share the "Wildman's" optimistic view on Marshawn Lynch, SEA's new RB? Will he be a strong RB2 from now on or will Justin Forsett take his share of carries from him?

Thanks

Let me start by saying, those of you who who haven't subscribed yet to Footballguys.com I have two words for you "Patrick Chung". There is nothing better than selecting an IDP playing in four leagues at the end of your draft, having your competitors all says thing like "Who the heck is that?" and then burning them each week with a top emerging performer. Footballguys called it in the preseason, and his 2 blocked kicks and INT for a TD literally saved me in three of my leagues this week. Thanks guys.

My question: The next few weeks offer the opportunity to target certain underperforming players for trades who we might stash away as playoff insurance becuase of good matchups, fraility as the same position, etc. Examples that come to mind are Shonn Greene (will LT make it through the season healthy?) and Moreno (matchups against Arizona and Oakland in weeks 14 & 15). Who do you see at good players to take a flyer on that may help down the road.

Excellent work as always,

Jonathan

K, I gotta know how you guys think I came out on this trade:

I traded Moss and Sjax for Gore, Barber, and Harvin

previous lineup:

Hill

Nicks

Moss

Sjax

Best

Finley

Holmes

Kolb

new lineup:

Hill

Nicks

Harvin

Gore

Best

Finley

Barber/Holmes

Kolb

Hey Guys,

I've stashed Andre Brown on my roster because Moreno's injured, Maroney stinks and CBuck is old... I liked what I saw out of Brown in the preseason, but after watching the Broncos for the past couple of weeks I'm wondering if Brown would have much value even IF he became the #1... are they just a passing team? Can their offensive line block anybody? Would you consider Brown a weekly RB#2 if he gets the job outright?

Also, who do you like more in PPR going forward (gulp):

Lee Evans

Mike Simms-Walker

Josh Cribbs

Hey, Sig and Cecil! Back in the chat room for 2010 (been busy as we expect baby #8 in a few weeks here; you remember how that is).

Anyway, I'm slightly hurt by the bye week this week for WRs and need to replace Brandon Marshall in my lineup. I picked up Lance Moore off waivers, but is there a sleeper WR out there this week that would be a better pickup?

Also, Knowshon Moreno was dropped last week, so I stashed him on my roster. Does he look to have any value going forward (assuming his hammy holds up)? Maroney hasn't exactly looked like "the answer", and they seem to be content with Orton chucking the ball 40 times a game.

Boom! its Audible time!

The only downside of having a great RB stable is deciding who to go with each and every week, I need one out of the following: Jahvid Best vs. Rams, Peyton Hillis vs. Falcons, and Ahmad Bradshaw vs. Texans

Thanks fellas!

Whats up!! LOVE this show..

Which QB has the better match-up this week: Matt Ryan vs. Browns or Eli Manning vs. Texans?

Also, really quick, should I go with Britt or Crabtree as my WR3 this week?

I'd really like to hear your thoughts on Dexter McCluster going forward in leagues that reward pts for return yards - I know he is splitting with Arenas but there is something about McCluster that just screams potential.

His touches have increased and he has 2td's in 3 games. This weekend's game in Indy could be his showcase game to show the world how good he can be.

I know he won't get anymore than 5 carries a game but how do you value him in FF.

You guys rock! thanks for increasing my FBI each week. Couple of WDIS questions for the masters of their domain:

1. Shaun Hill v.STL or Eli @HOU? 5 pt per TD pass, 25 yards passing/point, -2 for INT.

2. PPR league: can you rank these guys this for week: Torain vGB, Mike Thomas @BUF, Bowe @IND?

3. Do you expect it to get better for Fitz and Crabtree (PPR leagues)?

During the offseason you guys talked about Brandon Tate's potential for being the man to maybe one day replace Randy Moss, is today the day? What are your guys expectation for him going forward? Thanks

IDP 'fringe type' pickup question this week for yer brainpans:

Got pretty well waxed by injuries/suspensions this week at DB(Bullitt, Burnett and Gregory all in one swoop.) Would like to hear your opinions of the following couple guys as bye week fliers, and what value you think they have for the rest of the season:

Dahl- intrigues me because that Rams defense is seemingly on the field 99% of the time.

Milloy - how long til he breaks down?

Would you advise against either over, say, an offensive '25th man' type(Danny Ware, Goodson, et al)?

I'll hang up and listen. :tinfoilhat:

Waiver wire question:

Davone Bess is availbale to add/drop in my PPR league. Is this guy an every week starter as WR#3/FX going forward? Do I spend 50% of my blind-bidding $$$ on this guy?

Thanks

Hows it goin gang?

What do you see from CJ Spiller going forward now that Lynch is out of the mix? Do you believe Jackson will actually get the lionshare of the carries as stated? Will CJ's production dictate his touches?

Do you see him becoming a steady flex starter?

TIA

Michael Bush vs Ryan Torain - standard non-PPR

Bush looks to be ranked ahead of Torain, but the Packers defense has been hit hard with injuries while the San Diego defense looks solid. Is Bush still the play this week?

What are your thoughts on the production level of Vick/Kolb from this point forward?

In a potential trade for them (as a pair; 1 pt/25 yards, 4 pts/passing TD), what would be fair value in return in terms of RB tier?

Thank you,

Steve

Regarding RBs.

Bradshaw and Tomlinson playing great so far. Are you buying or selling them?

Turner and Rice kind of the opposite of the two above, both playing under expectations. Same question…buying or selling?

Finally, in Oakland, with McFadden and Michael Bush….how do you see that situation shaking out?

Hi guys,

I noticed Garcon got dropped in a couple of my leagues, is we a worthy pickup against the likes of a Louis Murphy or Jabar Gaffney?

With 5 carries, you can't figure that one out on your own?
