John Goodman is a great actor, very much in the running for the most underrated of our generation.

That said, he was way too fat and way too old to be playing the Bambino. Its on TV right now, and its awful that his main qualification was fatness. How do you make this story dull, you are talking one of the great lives of the 20th century and this thing is just unwatchable.

We need a proper Babe Ruth movie, imagine if we had Vincent D'Onofrio starring in this in 91 instead of Goodman.
