Maybe, but they've played games before.  They shot a whole intro package with Caila the Atrocious Robot before picking JoJo.  Then there was the whole Britt/ Kaitlyn debacle (followed by the Kaitlyn debacle a/k/a her season). 

But in any case, uh, aren't we supposed to think she still has a chance at being the "winner" of, y'know, the CURRENT season? :lmao:  Looks to me like they already know this season completely stank and are moving on fast.

They are not walking back from this, it is going to be fascinating to see the mix of men they have as suitors. 

 
Pretty surprising they would announce this before she's even eliminated. Not that its going to affect viewership, but its still strange.

Raven still looking like the likely winner. Hope the Russian makes it to paradise.

 
Nick really is hilariously dull(as are all the girls other than corrine, who really doesn't count). And I still laugh at how he basically talks through his teeth like a ventriloquist. 

 
Nick basically has 5 questions that he's capable of asking. Other than that,  he just pets their thighs and makes weird faces.

I think we are down to Rachel, Raven, and Christine. Vanessa's too whiny, Corrine is too needy, and I don't think he has enough of a connection with Danielle. If he ends up somehow with Corrine, he deserves what he gets. I will not feel sorry for him at all.

I haven't caught up with the latest drama yet but I like Rachel the most.

Loved how "part of the family Raquel" has to serve them before sitting down to dinner and was cleaning the table while the family was looking out the window

 
It has to be Raven by default at this point. Vanessa and the Italian family just feels too far out of Nick's shallow wheelhouse, Rachel is the next bachelorette, and Corrine has the intellect of a fifteen year old (I'm not putting her as the winner past Nick though).  

I don't know anything about Andi, but based on twenty seconds of her tonight then I'd say if she's looking to get back into his life that she's sitting at +140 vs Raven right now.

 
Oh my, Vanessa's dad. lol. My dad would be digging to. What do you mean, what do you mean. Did you say this to the other 3 families too? lol My dad wouldn't give his blessing after meeting the dude only 1 time.

 
Lol at them making a big deal about black girl bringing white boy home....and then her sister is married to dopey white guy already!

 
He's dumped all the good ones, except Rachel, and we already know her fate.   Numbnut probably wanting a do over for this season.

Corrine gets her looks from her dad.  Which is probably a good thing.

Bingo.  You could tell early in the season when she was just spilling out if her bikini  (in the bad way) it was like when you wrap a pile of news paper in JUST enough twine to hold it together until recycling day

I don't see why people aren't picking Vanessa on this.  He's been all over her since the "weightless plane ride" date. 

 
My guess is vanessa is just waking up to the fact that she's competing for a prize that really wasn't worth fighting for. I'm betting their night in the fantasy suite (and the real conversations they will presumably have off camera) will put an end to things

Ravyn is the least attractive plus her dad is bald.

Corrine just spent 3k on a stupid outfit for him.  Wtf.

Vanessa seems like she will nag him to death.

Rachel has her head on straight and took him to church to show him that he needs to rise up to her level.  Whoever ends up with her will become a better man.

 
I thought Vanessa looked damn good last night, she's the best looking remaining by a decent margin IMO. Her family was asking what every family should ask at these home town visits. You know this isn't real life right? After the fantasy/vacation is over what's next? Good for them, she can do better and likely will in the future. 

 
They need to do emergency dental repairs on Rachel before the bachelorette or put a white spot on her teeth like how they did the black spot on that one girl's ### for an entire season.  Black tooth grins are an absolute dealbreaker and she's otherwise very good looking.

Agree w the "real life" angle. My theory on Vanessa:

- she's arguably the best looking woman on this season

- reasons she still single: her kids at school take up a lot of her time and emotional energy, as do her family (both mom's side & dad), and a boyfriend/fiancé don't fit that paradigm

- Nick doesn't bring enough to the table for her to uproot her life, and he ain't moving to Canada for her

- not sure what happened with her "breakup" referenced last night, but it would not surprise me if he gave her some kind ultimatum about her choosing family/career or him

 
I try to envision myself fitting into the families.  That's important.  The Hoxie family was nice, down to earth but too small town.  Those Easter Suppers will be long and full of Kraft products.  The giant Italian family reminds me of the one I married into but minus the overt intrusions into my psyche and absent the awkward as hell father.  Also, why do they ALL use the word "like" so much?  Every single - like - one of them.  Corrine revolts me; her father could be Mr. Johnny Walker Blue himself and I'd run fast and furious away with all of them, but not before offering their domestic slave emancipation.  I'd fit in best with Rachel's family.  Like their humor, though her father would probably not find me funny, like, at all.
