“I am a victim and have spent the last week trying to make sense of what happened on June 4. Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place, which I understand is why production on the show has now been suspended and a producer on the show has filed a complaint against the production. As a woman, this is my worst nightmare and it has now become my reality. As I pursue the details and facts surrounding that night and the immediate days after, I have retained a group of professionals to ensure that what happened on June 4 comes to light and I can continue my life, including hiring an attorney to obtain justice and seeking therapy to begin dealing with the physical and emotional trauma stemming from that evening.”
They had to shut down production because a complaint was made. Unless receiving a complaint == tacitly admitting wrong doing, that's not what happened. She is going to cash in big time IMO. ABC has already tacitly admitted wrong doing by shutting down production on a huge moneymaking, franchise show.
pretty good Q&A here with a top reality TV producer not associated with BiPThey had to shut down production because a complaint was made. Unless receiving a complaint == tacitly admitting wrong doing, that's not what happened.
That being said, they'll shell out the money because it's easier/cheaper than going to court and putting your fate in the hands of a bunch of yahoos serving jury duty. And BiP will probably go away forever.
Unless the video, which I've heard the accuser and the victim have not seen, clearly shows she was fine. In that case, her claiming not to remember anything will probably help her avoid any countersuits, and BiP will be allowed to resume.
I don't know if it's dead...this thing generates a ton of cash for ABC with very little overhead compared to shows with actual actors. I think they will sort this out as quickly as possible and return to shooting. Ultimately, ABC is beholden to shareholders and they don't take kindly to losing easy revenue. They'll tighten it up with lawyers, Chris Harrison will come out and do a dramatic soliloquy with a dark background and serious muted music which will include a pledge to be more responsible with alcohol and risk management. Hell, he'll probably do that taping now and it will run on Monday's show.Kinda serves ABC right on this one. This girl is obviously a Trainwreck with an alcohol problem. They got away with it with Chad last year but they were playing with fire.
I know most of the people on this thing aren't especially stable but she's on a whole other level. This show is dead
That's what I thought when that guy from Megan Wants A Millionaire murdered a stripper, dismembered her, and tried to flee the country, and was only caught because her dismembered implants had medical ID numbers on them, but there hasn't been a "Millionaire" or "Of Love" show since. I'm on pins and needles here.Someone on Previously TV said exactly the same thing - that they're only watching the "main" shows so they have some sense of who the "players" are on Paradise.
I really can't see why they can't just finish their investigation, settle the legal issues quietly and return to that dump in Puerto Vallarta ASAP to resuming filming, probably without Corinne and "DeMario," and still make the early August airdate. And the idea that this will kill BIP permanently is, I think, ridiculous.
Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit different. That's what I thought when that guy from Megan Wants A Millionaire murdered a stripper, dismembered her, and tried to flee the country, and was only caught because her dismembered implants had medical ID numbers on them, but there hasn't been a "Millionaire" or "Of Love" show since. I definitely haven't witnessed a woman anywhere either IRL, famous/online or whatever who has a higher quotient of physical beauty plus utter loathesomeness as a human being. The term hate-#### was invented for her.Exactly.
yeah. i don't see ABC/Disney litigating this unless there's incontrovertible evidence, i.e. the video, that contradicts Corrinne's story. They had to shut down production because a complaint was made. Unless receiving a complaint == tacitly admitting wrong doing, that's not what happened.

This termagant will get paid right away, sign papers agreeing not to discuss what happened or how much she got and the collateral damage in all this will be a black man because of course.
No, I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same.Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit different.
Bill: It came out you might have dated the bachelorette? You might not have?
KD: Oh man, that was a long time ago too.
Bill: What was that story?
KD: I don't even know.
Bill: Did you go on a date with her?
KD: Nah I didn't.
Bill: This was an US Weekly story.
KD: It was?
Bill: Yeah it was US Weekly, it said you went on a date. Rich [KD's agent] saw it. Rich sees everything.
KD: He told me about that. No, I went to, we went to, we actually, we actually, um, would see each other probably once a week in college. We never really hung out at all. That's how I know her.

So looks like Corinne and DeMario are suing the show. They will both make out like bandits!![]()
Of course they're both going to sue the show. It wouldn't make sense for them to sue each other - even though if she's a victim, he's the perpetrator and by claiming she's a victim, she's the one defaming him. But both know the other has little to no money. ABC's the one with money.https://www.bustle.com/p/demario-jacksons-statement-about-the-bachelor-in-paradise-allegations-reveals-hes-taking-legal-action-64547?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=owned&utm_campaign=bustle

What was the quote from Better Call Saul the other night? "This is America, home of the free, and land of the lawsuit". Something like that.Quint said:"Well, would it be possible to sue you people?"
"Sue me? Why would you sue me? What are talking about?"
"Punitive damages."
"Yeah, but why would you sue me?"
"I don't know, sue everybody!"

Short version: Corinne and DeMario were on the set of Bachelor in Paradise. They got a bit drunk and went to the pool. Sex-type stuff happened. Next day, a producer who didn't see what happened and didn't see the video of what happened heard some stories that made her uncomfortable about what happened and made a complaint. Production was shut down and everyone was sent home.so what exactly happend
I read somewhere that some chick was standing with her ##### in some dudes face by the pool and he munched out
is that the story?
Awesome thank you for the recapShort version: Corinne and DeMario were on the set of Bachelor in Paradise. They got a bit drunk and went to the pool. Sex-type stuff happened. Not short version: No one's clear as to what happened at the pool. I've heard that DeMario said Corinne was lucid and engaged and instigated the whole encounter and shoved her genitals in his face for some oral, but he couldn't consummate because of the alcohol consumed. He also said that they've since been in contact and are cool with one another. I've heard other stories that she was passed out to the point that he was having to hold her up out of the water while he went to town on her, and afterward she had to be carried back to bed by production assistants. There are also rumors that production pushed for the whole thing to happen as a storyline for the show. Corinne says she has little to no memory of what happened, but apparently it was something bad, so she's lawyered up and is going to start therapy sessions to help her deal with a trauma she's not sure happened. I've also heard it said she claimed she would never participate willingly in an encounter like that because she has a bf back home and wouldn't jeopardize that relationship, even though that's the point of being on the show. DeMario's also lawyered up and will fight until his name has been cleared. ABC has not released the tapes. The show is shut down at least until they finish investigating what happened. Chris Harrison has said that he hopes the investigation finishes quickly and production can be restarted. Likely that will only happen if the tapes show Corinne was not too incapacitated to know what was going on.

I'm trying to catch up before Father's Day dinner and just watched the first two episodes. I don't understand the lack of interest. No posts about the Blackchelorette![]()
Rachel is generally appealing, though she went a bit crazy over the insane troll doll they try to say was DeMario's girlfriend (NFW - DeMario might be the best-looking guy on the show and that woman was :X ). And sure, the Whaboom guy and his nemesis, who is somehow even worse (Blake?), are annoying and hopefully will be gone soon. Yeah, that hillbilly Lee is creeping me out. I don't get her interest in Dean, who seems like someone's baby brother that wondered onto the set. And Fred(?), the guy for whom she was camp counselor? That's just a weird vibe, too. OK, come to think of it, a lot of this sucks.I'd pay $5.99 to watch Corinne getting her box chowed“Out of respect for the privacy interests of those involved, we do not intend to release the videotape of the incident,”
