not that he'll explain it, but my theory is that Nikki is demure, and socially adroit enough not to make a scene when meeting the bio mom, so it was safe to bring her around Camilla. additionally, JP probably knew that a pediatric nurse would be comfortable around kids.

conversely, Claire is wild-card who could have seen meeting bio mom as some kind of chance for confrontation, so he backed off that possibility. choosing Andie or Sharleen (i think she was around at that time) would not have worked either because he would have had to offer more of an intellectual explanation for choosing either them to meet his daughter, which would have required way more effort to pull off.

doesn't matter to me either way....it's just that that is a pretty big play....probably in these shows more than in real life.....but still...and it just seemed to get swept under the carpet.....it hasn't really been brought up since, and I am just interested to see the reaction of the other girls when they find out......they will probably think it was a pretty big deal and be pissed off as it gave Nikki a little edge in that JP has seen her around his daughter already.....and the daughter is being played as a huge part in this whole show.....unfortunatley we may not get to see Claire's reaction since she is still in the hunt....

I think all it means is that Nikki is the choice and had been for some time already. Meeting his daughter didn't give Nikki "the edge", she saw his daughter because she already had "the edge."

If Nikki wins, there's ZERO chance she's with JP still...

Nikki's twitter is all pics of her and Andi partying it up... no way they'd be tight if she was still w him considering what Andi thinks of him

at the beginning I thought this dude had all kinds of game.....accent/face touching/playing dumb/single dad angle/decent looking/body/look at me/hair pushing back/tear wiping/it's ok/trust me.......but after watching this all season.......that really is the extent of JP.....those things....he has ZERO substance after that......he can't carry on an intelligent conversation, nor does he want too.....because he knows he can't so he doesn't even try.....it just not what he does.....and Andi called him out on it......

JP also plays the dumb card and gives that dog expression look when the dog is trying to figure out what you are saying but doesn't understand you....when he feels he needs too......and girls fall for it.....they think it's cute (for a little while) when he doesn't "understand" things and they have to explain it to him like he is a 4 year old......

Andi nailed it as she left "he just doesn't get it and he never will.....he's probably back there saying "its okay".....

I called this a few weeks ago that America and women across the country would start to cool on this guy.......everybody was really excited at the beginning, but if you took the temperature of the women across the country I bet they have been cooling on this guy for a while.....it won't be just cause he got his ### handed to him by Andi......

Juan Pablo really has acted the same way the whole way through. Yeah that's true she called him out on it but why not until it got all the way to the fantasy suite? I'm on board with the thought that she wants to be the next Bachelorette. Andi and Sharleen dumped him for the exact same reason but all these girls should've known after spending about 5 minutes with him that this is how he is. I think the people criticizing Andi are mostly doing so because we saw a different side of her that really isn't attractive after we had this different image of her the whole season.

 
I've known Clare makes Final 2 since December, but her and her sis won't give up who wins. I'll say this though, Clare hasn't acted like a girl who just lost the Bachelor. She was giddy the entire time she was in Sacramento, then suddenly moved to LA in early January.

Nikki has recently been tweeting a ton of pics of her and her new BFF Andi. If Nikki and JP were still together don't you think that friendship would be a little awkward?

My wife watches it, so I do as well. I'm usually on my computer or something while its on, but I'd be lying if I said the drama didn't draw me in a little.

I assume that's why all of us who post here watch it. If there are any single men who watch it out of their own desire though, that'd be pretty confusing.

Wife watches it - I enjoy watching crazy chicks in bikinis.. win/win. I usually do something else while it is on like surf the web and just pay attention when there is a good reason to.....

Wife watches it - I enjoy watching crazy chicks in bikinis.. win/win. I usually do something else while it is on like surf the web and just pay attention when there is a good reason to.....

it's a drinking game at our house. usually invite the neighbors over and knock down a couple of bottles of wine during the show.

I don't buy that all the FBGs watch this show only because they are handcuffed to the couch by their wives. I guess GM is the one man enough to admit he does so by choice.

I am skipping forward to last night's episode as this thread indicates it had more drama. After the first 10 minutes, I say that I like Clare.

We do a lot of fast forwarding (god bless the 30 second skip button) which helps me fall into the "by choice" part of it...no way I'd be able to tolerate watching the full show. I definitely enjoy all the eye candy and both my wife and I enjoy making fun of how stupid everyone is (a couple weeks back, when Nikki was talking about how nervous she was about going to the dance recital as if SHE was the one with the recital, we were in a hysterical laughing fit).

She deals with me watching a lot of sports so I don't have a problem actually being interested in something she watches. If she took it as seriously as some of her friends do, I wouldn't be able to handle it.

It's not like I'm handcuffed to the couch, but we have 1 living room, and we tend to spend evenings together. It's one of those shows that I'd never have turned on in the first place were it not for the wife. Kind of how she is with Mythbusters, Gold Rush, or Shark Tank for me. She'd never turn those on in the first place were it not for me, but now that she does, she enjoys watching them if I am.

If we rewound time and this show was "new," to the world, I'd never be the one suggesting we watch, but as others have pointed out, girls in bikinis + drama = better than a lot of other things on TV. I'd certainly watch this twice before watching any of the Kardashian crap.

 
So I realized yesterday that the resort they were at for Clare's fantasy suite date was where my wife and I went on our honeymoon. They changed the name. It's Sugar Beach now, it used to be Jalouise Plantation. I think the place they had dinner was actually the spa, and not a restaurant at all. The only thing that looked familiar to us was the actual room they stayed in...we kept saying how much it looked like the place we stayed, then I googled it and found out the name had changed.

The other place, where JP was hanging out after Andi's date, is Jade Mountain Resort. It looks amazing. We thought about staying there, but it's hella $$. I think Jake and whatserface had their season's finale filmed there. This is the first time I remember them using multiple resorts for the fantasy suite thing...have they always done this?

So that was a whole lot of nothing. He's just kind of a simpleton. Lacks depth. But he answered everything well enough, it wasn't this grilling they made it out to be.

 
Word is Andi has requested and got about a 3 month leave from work at the time they will be filming Bachelorette.

 
All I know is "girl with dog" took up way more than her allotted time on most everything. She was flat out annoying...Didn't contribute to ANY major story lines, but had an opinion on everything!

I was sad Amy L. wasn't there...I liked her, despite her horrible news interview during the 1-on-1 time...

 
Am I the only one picturing 26 women thinking "you did what?" when Sharleen said that she and JP had talked about inequality as it relates to gays?
