1.06 Lesean McCoy + 2.09 Jimmy Graham + 3.08 Peyton Manning + 4.09 Ryan Mathews = Championship in a big money 14 team ppr!

:headbang:

After losing my 2nd final in 2 years in my big money league, I joined FBG in 08 and named myself fantasycurse... If you saw how stacked the teams I lost with were, you would understand why... The curse has continued as I've been the 1 seed 3 times since 08 and still hadn't won this one league. This year nothing was left to chance; My team was too stacked, my sleepers were too good, my trades were on point, & I picked the right starters with almost pinpoint precision. I finish this season 14-1, the one blemish on my record was avenged in the finals today!!

Wow, congrats fantasycurse42.

I can relate. Been in my main 14-man league since 1998 and made 3 Super Bowls in that span, lost all 3. In that time some of my best teams didn't make it past the 1st round.

Fast forward to 2013, shrugging off injuries to Rodgers, Gronk and Blackmon, I just made it to my 4th Super Bowl. Losing 3 had me in that Buffalo Bills tier, but a 4th? Now we're talking rare Susan Lucci air. Anyway, I did it. Won my 1st Super Bowl in 15 years.

Congrats Man, it's great to meet you in the Champs Lounge.

Drafted at the turn in a 12 team league this year and didn't think I would stand much of a chance.

Ended up going WR-WR (Megatron - AJ Green) at the turn, snagged key mid-draft RBs (Lacy / Mathews / FJax / DWil) and drafted QB late (Kaep).

Big moves of the year were picking up Keenan Allen and Nick Foles.

Biggest trades offers I was refused, Megatron for Trent Richardson prior to his trade to Indy and Ryan Mathews for David Wilson.

Sometimes it's the trades that you DON'T make that make your season.

In my 6 main leagues...won 3, 2nd in one (kaep fell 9 points short), 3rd in another and toilet bowl champ in the last. High scorer in 2 of the 6. Overall great season. Felt good waking up this morning. Oh, Merry Christmas.

QB: PEYTON

RB: CHARLES/BUSH/VEREEN

WR:GORDON/WHITE

TE: DAVIS/FLEENER

K: PRATER

D: Broncos/Steelers/Bengals/Eagles

drinking CHAMPegne all week!!!

Won my dynasty, ppr, IDP league this year with Andy Dalton, Jamaal Charles, and Eric Decker/Riley Cooper/Brian Hartline as my top 3 WRs. My defensive players really stood out though, Kyle Williams, Robert Quinn, Lavonte David, and both starting Cleveland safeties.

Just gained my 5th championship in the 10 years that I've been in the No Mercy group. It's a system of 7 leagues in which you move up the pyramid by winning or back down by losing There's a number of FBG staff participating with us. I'll head back to Great White again in 2014 and attempt to become the first 2 time winner of that top league. Anyone interested in getting on board next year can apply on the waiting list at http://nomercyleagues.proboards.com/index.cgi? For more info on the No Mercy leagues go to http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=nomercy

It feels nice to come in here again...it has been awhile.

won 4 championships in 5 years from 2000 to 2005 in a shark-filled 12 team league. Since then? I have made the playoffs in 7 of the 8 years since and have not even sniffed the championship game...7 years of playoffs resulting in defeats of which most I were favored in would have anyone beaten down....but not this year.

My one/two punch of Charles(1st) and Forte (2nd) worked just like I planned in the draft. Tony Gonzalez(4th) was consistent as always, and Garcon (6th) and Gordon (9th) were a gold mine....and let me not forget my free agent find, Nick Foles. It was a blessed year.

Foles

Lacy

Gore

Calvin

Demaryius

Janikowski

Packers D

That was the starting lineup for my finals (TD only...obviously with the Packers in there I was not winning any other type of league if I had gone with their D...and they didn't help much in this league either)

I would just like to send a note of thanks out to FBG's, the site, the staff but especially all the posters in the Shark Pool.

Won 3 out of 4 leagues. The main one I care about, $$$$ league that is now 20 years old with some smart FF vets, I've won for the 4th year out of 5. Finished on a 9 game win streak, beat the top seed and points leader for the cup. A bit of deafening silence with this one, the trophy's coming back home.

As a slight change, this year I focused on drafting and adding the same players in all leagues and it worked beautifully: Gordon, Allen, DeSean Jackson, Vereen, Vick/Foles (got him early), in all leagues, plus Nelson (excellent 1st half `til Rodgers went down) and Seattle/Chiefs/Panthers in some, some combo of LeVeon Bell, Fred Jackson, Andre Brown, McCoy and Charles in the 3 I won.

A shout out to the Eagles, man was it fun watching that team this year, I acquired their players wherever I could.

These were probably my most successful, enjoyable and favorite teams ever, thanks again, it's great to talk football with such intelligent, insightful people. Congrats to all.

I 2nd the FBG and Shark Pool shoutouts. There is a TON of good info on here and knowledgable posters that make FF even more fun.

I also won 3 out of my 4 leagues. Mostly with guys like Jordan Cameron, Vereen, Keenan Allen, and Eddie Lacy.

This was my 1st year subscribing to FBG and I'll totally be back next year. All the stuff leading up to my drafts was extremely helpful as well as the VBD sheets for each of my league. The 10-second weekly primer was also a great tool for helping me decide who to start each week. Anytime you can customize rankings and scoring to your league, it gives you a big advantage over the rest of your league.

I'm taking my seat in the Lounge! Won my money league but I don't think the sense of victory has even really settled in yet, it's more one of relief that I was able to survive the war of attrition that the season becomes. I think the first purchase I'll make with my winner's check is a nice bottle of Whistle Pig. A couple fingers of that and I'll just let the warm feeling of satisfaction wash over me. Well, satisfaction and alcohol, but they often feel the same :bowtie: .

Won my local thanks to P. Dawson. He was fantastic the last 2 weeks.

I hear you; I even picked up Maclin. He'll pay off next year.

Thanks to the last touchdown of the year (Orton to Dez), I won the only league I enter these days. 16 team auction-dynasty. No playoffs. Round-robin for 15 and matchup the standings for the final two.

Today I benched Stafford *and* Newton for Orton and won it late.
