THE DALLAS COWBOYS (1 Viewer)

The past two weeks have given me all I need to see. The Pats have been on top for long enough. They got hot too early. There is enough film on the offense and a few options to keep them from destroying you. The defense is looking old, but still tough.

The cowboys are up and coming, young, and have an easier path to the SB. They will be using the playoffs as training, while the Pats will be facing much more difficult opponents and will be beat up by the time they reach the SB.

I am now rooting for the Pats to go undefeated. It is hard to beat a good team twice.

THE DALLAS COWBOYS WILL RIP THE BEATING HEART OUT OF THE PATRIOTS CHEST IN THE SUPERBOWL, thereby showing who is the NFL's golden franchise.

Not after Seattle knocks them out of the playoffs again! In Dallas this time too!

Even if your Cowboys get there, big if, they won't get the chance. (Colts win AFCCG in Foxboro this time.)
I'd rather play the Pats. More of a challenge.Dwight Freeney is gone. Romo would have all day, sorta like Brady will next time you meet.

thousand bucks right now last longer bet cowboys vs. seahawks

Even if you somehow managed to get to the SB, the Browns will be waiting to destroy you. Anderson to Edwards/Winslow. All. Day.

I wouldn't bet your Tony Romo blowup doll on that, especially if Marvin comes back healthy.
Does anyone else wonder what is going on with Harrison? He's barely played or has been out entirely each week since 9/23. It's been 10 weeks. That's one heck of a bruised knee.

I traded Colston and Santonio Holmes in a dynasty for Harrison & a DL about week 5. :no:Still waiting for that "win now" move to pan out.

Bold prediction. :kicksrock:
Oh, so the Cowboys beating the team that has been talked about as best ever, already beaten them by more the 3 TD's, and is undefeated isn't bold enough for you huh? They'll do it with one arm tied behind their backs.Get the F outta here.

You didn't see the play? He tore his knee if you ask me. I guess he wants to play in the playoffs or SB if they get there is my only guess.

the pats haven't been looking that impressive last weeks

but they have something the cowboys dont have ... post season experience

anyway... right now it looks like a great SB matchup ! :kicksrock:

Obviously I am getting ahead of myself, and I am worried about the Cowboys defense, specifically their secondary.

The Cowgirls lost by 21 at home just a few weeks ago. Why would they even sniff a victory over the Pats at a neutral stadium, let alone pull it off?

Romo can implode at any given time, and he's due for a bad game. Do you honestly think the pressure of a Super Bowl won't have an effect on him? Do you think Brady will be nervous for his... what, 5th Super Bowl? Please. The Pats will have a harder time making it out of their conference than they will in the Super Bore.

Nope... Brady is in for a long rest of the season. The Ravens showed they are the 1st defense not afraid to get in his grill and hit him every play. Any team with defense play makers has a shot at this point. I've wondered all year why teams have not played that aggressive with the Pats. It's the only way to beat the scheme... force must overcome finesse.

And it's this arrogance that will be their downfall. Is this really Brady's 5th Superbowl? Please get off the bandwagon. Why will Romo implode again? Is he still a nervous wreck after dropping a ball in Seattle that was slicker then Bill Clinton's balls? Or the game where he threw 6 int's and came back in to lead his team to victory? I don't remember seeing him biting his nails and sulking on the bench.

I agree with this. Why on Earth do teams let him just sit back there. I was screaming at the TV tonight when the Ravens would only rush 3. I would blitz every down. Sure he will find the open guy, but you will get hits on him. I'd blitz him until he can't get up anymore. w/o Brady, the Pats are done.

5th ?

Sorry, Charlie I'm not on this bandwagon. Hell, I wasn't sure what number SB this would be for Brady. That's why I asked the question, "...nervous for his what, 5th Super Bowl?" This would be his 4th if he makes it, I was just too lazy to look it up.

The closest I've came to cheering for the Pats is drafting Brady for my FF team this year. Beyond that I'm for the Titans and I enjoy watching Favre play. However, I can recognize a superior team when I see one. Maybe you should take off your  glasses at look at the facts. The Cowboys got spanked at home. They will do no better on a neutral field.

Exactly... make him pay for being the playmaker. That's why some teams balance their game plans by running.

I think you misunderstand me starting a thread talking smack with arrogance that the Cowboys are a head and shoulders team better. TO be honest, if both teams played their very best, I think the Patriots are better. They have so much more experience and great coaching.I know that the Cowboys would have to game plan perfectly and play perfectly to beat the Pats, but I don't think it's out of the question. Yes we got got beaten pretty badly last time, but that was then, and this is now.

Fair enough. I'd enjoy watching them play again if only to witness the egos of Moss & Owens in a Super Bowl. That'd be fun to see.

I don't know why people insist that Dallas got spanked. The score was 24-21 toward the end of the 3rd quarter and their will be hell to pay if Dal-NE meet in the SuperBowl for NE running the score up with the game out of hand (c'mon now you all heard Patrick Crayton). I do agree that the blue print is out and Dallas has the necessary tools to do exactly what Philly and Balt have done the last two weeks....in addition to having an offense that can go blow for blow.

Round 2 will feature a healthy Anthony Henry and Terry Glenn....WATCHOUT for dem Boys!!!

cool! we'll bring maroney and seymour this time...

The key here being a good team.

Seriously, let's table this arguement IF NE is undefeated and IF they both make the playoffs.

Yes, Dallas is playing well and seem to be the team to beat in the NFC but anything's possible.

As far as NE, they have their own issues they need to fix.

Im pretty sure it's a safe bet both will make the playoffs. This is just what I WANT to happen. Think of it sorta like an early late Christmas gift.

I think we need to cover all bases, and have a _______ will beat the undefeated Pats in the playoffs thread for each team not eliminated from the playoffs yet.

Does the game end at the end of the 3rd quarter? No...then what does it matter what the score was then?I doubt Henry is scaring anyone...and Terry Glenn? Yeah...he will be healthy when? And scary? Not really.

I haven't read this thread, but I agree with the OP. Dallas is playing better then NE right now.
That's great . . .if they played the Super Bowl in December.I'm not disagreeing with you, but NE has shown they play their best football late and in the playoffs. There's still a long way to the SB for both teams.

This year, they've showed they play their best ball in the first 2 months of the season. :goodposting:

That'll be pretty hard to do considering it will be a Pats vs. Vikings Super Bowl.

Dallas has looked better lately, but given two weeks to prepare, does anyone really think that Wade Phillips will come up with a better game plan and prepare his team better than Belicheck?

Don't you Cowboy fans ever get sick of hearing yourself talk? Fans like you are really boring! I am sure the REAL Cowboy fans feel the same way.

Dallas won't even make it. They are walking as if they are already there, but just like last year they will choke.

Sorry, this is the way it will be.

On a serious note, IF Dallas makes it to the Super Bowl, they do not have the makeup to beat the Pats imo. They DEFINATELY don't have the defense... especially since Roy Williams can't cover. No way they can stop the Pats as the Eagles surprisingly almost did and the Ravens for the most part did do.

Sadly yes. I loathe these threads as a Cowboy fan. However, every fanbase has it's share of idiots. Could the Cowboys win the SB....yeah you bet.Would any smart or sane man bet something they couldn't afford to lose on it....NO.I think the Cowboys have the most explosive offense that NE go against. With a healthy Henry, TNew, Ellis and Glenn it could make a potential rematch intriguing as these players were either OUT or well less than 100%. NE has been anything but average the last few weeks....yes they are still winning...but not playing that great...imo.Let's not crown them champs yet.
