In all logical aspects RBBC seems like a very safe and effective way to run a running back operation. However when your re arrange RBBC it spells disaster for fantasy backs (usually). Whats the strategy with backs that are intertwined with each other? Do you stay away from both of them perhaps handcuff them together? Ryan Mathews and Tolbert come to mind, DeMarco Murray and Jones haven't shown it so much but has definite potential to be there. What do you guys think about these types of situations? Is the goal of the first round to try to grab the rare everydown back, AP, chris johnson, Matt forte, Arian Foster than go for others? feel free to leave any questions about your line up ill answer em all no worries. Thanks for your input in advance.

Interestingly, if you can grab the more dynamic player in the committee in a later round, you often end up with good value. Jamaal Charles last year, Mathews this year in PPR have provided great value for where they were drafted. People are usually very down on these backs, but in drafting it's generally the best idea to take the most valuable player relative to all the remaining players. Sometimes it's a committee back. The upside to committee backs? If Charles vastly outplays T Jones, or Tolbert sustains an injury? Then you have a lead back who's extremely dynamic, and you got him at a highly discounted price. I'm probably still taking stud WRs and a top 3 QB before most committee backs, but knowing how to draft and manage these types of players is often the stuff that wins championships.
