The Denver Broncos (1 Viewer)

Gun-slinging quarterback who throws on the run a lot.

Veteran receiver that's been consistently good for a long period of time.

Young, stud receiver coming off an injury- plagued season

Offense featuring a run blocking scheme and a one cut running style that is successful

One veteran running back that never lived up to the hype

Young late round or undrafted free agent rookie running back that may be starting

Another back that is young, talented, and hits and misses from time to time

Now, am I talking about Denver, or Houston?

For those of you that "totally stay away" from the Denver running backs, are you drafting any from Houston this year?

I passed on Vernand Morency last night late in a draft, despite knowing his stats in the game.

I'm not sold that Domanick Davis, Antowain Smith, Wali Lundy, or Vernand Morency isn't going to split time with all of the other guys in the backfield.

This situation seems eerily similar to the one in Denver.

And I kow what happens when I try and pick the "right guy" from there.

Thoughts?

Are you trying to nab a couple of these guys? Or are you staying away?

Actually, yes. There is a very small chance that any Hou or Den RB will end up on my rosters this year. I did draft T. Bell in the Anarchy 1 league however.

Hi :homer:Carr is not a gunslinger who throws on the run, he's a punching bag who gets thrown on his back.Eric Moulds hasn't been consistently good for a long time. He's the dicitonary definition of an inconsistent star who alternated great years and awful years with precision. Andre Johnson is not a stud receiver until he actually puts up stud numbers. He's a goot talent, but he's had only one good season. In short, though I like some of what Houston has done this offseason, let's not go overboard. And with no clarity on their QB or RB situation, I'm very hesitant to select Texans.

It's been successful in Atlanta too, and Washington does a lot of it as well. With Houston and GB using it this season, we'll get a sense of how good the system is vs. how good the players are.
