How many Fbg failed to finish in the money this past week that otherwise would've been top 22?
That's my only concern I finished 6th. If I finished in the top 2 out of FBG members ill be really upset so I emailed Cameron and asked him about it.
Please let me know how this turns out. I finished 18th, so I don't have as much at stake as you, but if I would have finished in the top 11 I would have earned more cash. It's very likely I would have given the fact that nearly 2/3 entries were public. I think they should pay out FBG as if it wasn't open to public (but not take away what the public won either). Fanduel's (intentional) mistake, they should bear the loss and pay up.

So if non-FBG have qualified for the final are they still going to be allowed to keep those slots? Or are they disqualified for the FBG final so that a FBG can have it? Maybe the non-FBG winners can have a freeroll or something instead.
They signed up for it fair and square and risked their cash so they can't be DQ'd.This probably wasn't the best idea to begin with. If the contests don't fill, either FD or FBG is taking abeating. If they fill to capacity, we are the suckers for playing a game that doesn't have a rate of payout as good as the normal games. That's a tough balancing act.Side bar...Maybe someone can chime in here. I've noticed these contests don't have min enteries to run. Their other contest do. I thought min enteries was a no-no based on how I've seen high stakes leagues run?
I'm not suggesting that they lose any cash for winning/placing in the weekly tourney. Just the seat at the final. They could make up for it not by changing the cash outs (i.e. 1-2 $1500) but by adding seats at the finals for FBG who finished, say, 3 or 4 this week along with the first and second finishers (if they are FBG). In a sense vacate those seats and fill them in the coming weeks with FBG. But I see your point. It wasn't their fault it was opened up.

Agreed. While the Turkey Day free roll is a nice gesture, I don't think it remedies the wrong that was done last week. It likely wouldn't effect me (I finished 63rd), but it would definitely effect some FBG. I am down to $1.88 in my account, and am debating depositing enough to play the last 4 weeks. Right now, I'm leaning toward not. FD deliberately broke the agreement without the knowledge of FBG. It needs to be made right.

Yeah, lets do some basic math:350 additional entries at $10/each = $3,500 that fanduel profited from this "mistake". To make up for it they are offering a $200 freeroll. Like you said, nice gesture, but they are kidding themselves if they think this makes up for anything. Cameron - you should be embarrassed for this and make things right. You stand to lose a lot more business of mine and other FBG if you fail to do so. Likewise, I really hope Dave and Joe are doing more behind the scenes to stick up for their customers here. If not, there's a good chance they lose my business next year as well.

Cameron emailed me back and said that the 5 people ahead of me were all FBG members. Not sure if its true or how to find out. I don't want to cause a problem or anything so I just thanked him for his response. Good luck to all of you going forward and Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

You could cross check the names against past and future FBG contests. I sure wouldn't take his word for it at this point.

Does anyone know if this week is going to be private ~200 or public 555 entries? I was about 4 points out of the money last week with the public entries. Without the public entries, I'm guessing I'd be up $50 right now.

Looks like it was back to just FBG this week.

With the FBG only entries just barely covering the weekly prize pools it not suprising they tried to open it up. I'd guess it the contest will end up $30,000 or so in the red.

That said, the footballguys page says the weekely payouts pay down to 22nd. This weeks contest shows only the top 20 getting prizes. I haven't played since week 7, but going back to my history shows they did pay 21st and 22nd that week.

Currently way back this week, but with Brown and Cam to go. Baseded on the FBG projections I'll beat the current 2nd place score by .16 points. Hope you guys were right about multiple entries :excited:

It has been paid up to 22 other weeks as well. This is the first time I have seen it at 20. BTW

I plan on pushing the score it takes to get into the top 2 up a bit tonight.

Well the projections were pretty close, until they played the second half.

Payouts for 21st and 22nd were corrected to $50. Good job fanduel/football guys.

So this contest has been one of my favorites all year. Placed 4th a few weeks back and had about 5 other weeks I finished in the money as well - plus last week taking first.

I know others have asked if you can earn more then one entry into the finals and still haven't heard an answer on this. It is like a drug for me so I am in this week as well regardless.

I would also like to know if you can win more than one spot in the finals.

Just talked to the FanDuel staff and they said you can have a max of 2 seats in the finals.
